Absolutely unacceptable that we were only able to put up 435 yards and 17 points against that Alabama defense, while not turning the ball over.

If Miles wasn't meddling with the offense so much, we clearly would have rolled up 600+ yards and 35+ points, but due to his conservative tendencies and holding back the quarterbacks, here we are stuck with such a pathetic output.

Stay out of the o, the d, special teams, trick plays, sideline interviews.

Keep him for recruiting and ESPN commercials.

Can you believe he had the nerve to also take over control of the defense on Alabama's scoring drives?

You forgot that it was Miles that was running Chavis' defense at the end of the game.

You know the same defense that this board was praising before and during the game right before the last drive.

It was ALL Chavis.

Bama scores, it was Miles'.

I agree but at the same time his conservatism lost us the game. All we needed was one first down but he decides to run it up the middle and play conservative. there's no excuse for that.

Agree 100%. At least he allowed us to go 3 and 4 wide. I am more pissed now that he didn't allow this against Florida. We would be sitting pretty now if we didnt' have that loss.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

For this team to comeout and have their best game, with the best overall game plan... Against the number 1 team in the country is a GREAT feeling!!!

Miles made a few gambles that simply did not work. Anyone who has watched bama this year knows theycan score, and score quickly on offense. So Miles took a few gambles to keep the ball out of the hands of their offense. Im 100% ok with his reasons for pulling out the stops. If they had worked Miles is hailed as a genius, but they didn't work so he will take his lumps.

I for one would rather see the head coach go all out for the win, then be sitting here wondering "what if".

Great game all around. Any serious college football fan knows the two best teams (outside of MAYBE Oregon) played in tiger stadium sat night.

I could write a long essay on his "conservatism," but there's no point.

Frankly, the calls most are bitching about were overly aggressive, if anything.

Regardless, being overly "conservative" is a flaw that even the great Nick Saban is frequently guilty of as well. He's choked away many a big lead by sitting on the football and trying to run out the clock.

It's the nature of the way they play the game, built off many proven results.
