If you know Miles after all this time you know Jennings will start!

You guys realize both players need first team reps for an accurate comparison, right? Here, the receivers are the control group, and you need to see how the variable (QB) changes the result.

If Harris is truly improved, as all reports indicate, then nothing to worry about.

FWIW, you may remember that an issue we had going into the Iowa game was that the receivers weren't familiar with AJ's ball, since Mett had essentially all the reps. Your backup must get some reps with the first team for depth's sake.

He will lead everyone to believe, with no media film available, that Jennings caught up and maybe passed Harris. No one will believe it, but "coaches know best" and "how do YOU know?" will once again be the mantra. Meanwhile, all we can do is hope to God this is Miles playing poker with the other teams, because Jennings re-gaining his starting role will be depressing and disapointing.

I hope we know in advance. I would hate to drive all the way to BR just to see AJ trot onto the field. I could see another four turnovers in one quarter occurring.

wait...wait...wait

So Harris gets almost all the 1st team snaps the first 3 days, Miles says that Harris took the first 1st team snaps again, but says that Jennings "took a good portion" of 1st team snaps as well, which could mean anything

and tRant freaks the frick out?

never change guys...never change

How many games of bad QB play did we suffer through last year? Or in 2009-2010? I don't consider that "nothing".

You clearly missed the point. The issue at hand is not whether or not the QB battle is important (it clearly is). And if I'm honest, I genuinely hope BH gets the keys. He's a very talented guy who could be great.

What I addressed with my post is the fact that Les saying Jennings got "a good portion" of the posts is not at all indicative of the state of the QB battle. Literally every team in college football gets their QB2 reps with the 1s. Because, as I said, the #2 guy is an injury away from starting.

Thus, there's no reason to mince Les's words right now. Step back from the ledge.

How anyone can't see what Miles is doing is beyond me. Harris is clearly the #1 right now and is receiving the lion's share of 1st team reps. Hell, even last year they were saying he was getting half. Based on all reports and practice videos he is outperforming Jennings. Miles is simply conditioning a young QB to not get too relaxed and comfortable with the reins in his hands. He wants Harris to keep pushing himself to his limits in hopes that he reaches his full potential. Now if you want to argue if that's a good strategy, I beleive that can reasonably be done. Get out of here with this "Miles just couldn't wait to push Jennings back into the role" nonsense. The job is for Harris to lose.

They're not splitting reps. It's not 50/50. It's 25/75. Harris is your QB. Y'all seriously need to chill the frick out.

well it was clear last year that he knew the playbook, and Harris didn't.

Right because since Jefferson started playing, Miles has always said we've had quality QB play. Its continued all the way through the completion of last season. He says we have quality QB play. In reality, we've had sub-par borderline shitty QB play with exception to Mett.

Harris looks better this year compared to last.

Jennings looks better this year compared to last.

LINK

I look forward to either or both of them leading the Tigers.

Any one chatting for another QB at the start of the 1st game when no LSU QB has taken a game snap in 8 months and with the way both played in 2014, is college football mentally challenged.

BTW, was this the same press conference in which Miles was asked how Jennings was handling not being the starter or something to that point?

Everyday this board gets worse. 5 pages over this shite?

for the last week its been nothing but "Harris taking 1st team snaps" "Harris looking great"...and hardly a word.

now one sentence mentioning Jennings and you idiots go right back to being full blown retards. i pray for the day you window lickers get tired of embarrassing yourselves.
