No, naming the starter isn't the only thing that matters. If it is "that close" in Miles' mind you know what will happen after a couple of ints. Have seen that show before

poor jared lee.... we have seen this before for sure I guess nobody cares to remember the last bcs title game .. I wish I didn't!

This is very possible and kind of scary to think about. How do the coaches and players respond to the potential deafening roar of boo's?

If anyone does this, then everyone should go frick themselves and never attend another LSU game again in their lives.

And you just keep on living yours.....

out of the 100k that will be there, only about 40k actually know what the hell is going on.

It's even funnier if you listen to Miles' comments in context.

The question was whether or not he's chosen his QB. He said no and explained that both guys are playing well. He admitted that Harris took the first snaps with the 1s but that Jennings was getting a good portion as well.

In other words, even for normal people, Miles was simply stating that the competition is still open...which is what anyone with a brain would have expected at this point.

I'd say it's closer to 25k. 1 in 4 people are really stupid. About 75% of the fans are drunk, 50% of which loses cognitive reasoning skills. Factor in your "I'm here for everyone to see me then leave at halftime" fans and there is really not much knowledge left.

That's the rub. Do the Drama Queens have a brain when it comes to sports or are they just emotionally challenged?

Who knows what the staff really thinks or what punishment of Jennings, if any, will impact the starter race. but I have to think Harris getting the 1st snaps with the # 1's rather than the guy who started last season has some meaning.

Miles just wants mcneese to have to prepare for both players. Too big of a game to show your hand this early

its not hatred for Jennings as much as it is hatred for poor qb play which has plagued most of Miles tenure at LSU

no...im pretty sure its hatred for Jennings. otherwise people would be wanting him to improve instead of having 6 pages of complaining about him getting backup snaps in a freaking practice

I don't hate Jennings. His ceiling is game manager. Why would we keep playing him and even giving him a "good portion" of snaps when it's obvious Harris is the better QB, better runner, put on weight, and now apparently knows the playbook? There's no reason on this earth Harris shouldn't start and be getting 90% of the snaps in practice.

There shouldn't be a QB competition. Jennings had almost all year last year to prove he was the man and he's not. He can improve, sure, but he's not in Harris' stratosphere talent-wise.

But why would you continuously give valuable reps to someone who isn't starting? Thanks to Miles and Co. Harris missed valuable game experience en route to a very mediocre season. He needs all the reps he can get with the first team offense.

so if jennings was a good qb or showed at least some signs of promise, you think the reaction would be the same? You see people say this constantly and I cant understand it, "if we can just get average qb play" Why do we hope and wish for average qb play? Why shouldn't we want good to great qb play? The answer is because the qb play at LSU is far behind the rest of the conference and country. Jennings showed zero signs in an entire year and thinking of having two more years of sub par qb play should drive any fan base crazy.

because it's freaking practice

except all signs point to him starting and you have no idea what percentage of snaps they get.

this is a stupid question.

it doesn't matter. you should still hope he improves...even if he's a backup.

nothing has happened this offseason to make you think Jennings is starting. zero

Because if Harris starts, Jennings is still an injury away from being back on the field.
