Yeah, I also saw Tre White on crutches too. Maybe it's precautionary, but I hope he's ready for Bama.

It wouldn't be unusual for something like that during a bye week not to be any reflection on the upcoming game.

Dude what the hell are you talking about J.D. Moore is beast he is way better than Neighbors, Quinn, or Stampley

Umm... I played FB from the time I started football in the 2nd grade, through highschool (CSB, I know), so I pay a lot of attention to the position. I love JD Moore, but Quinn and others were good, too. Fournette can be equally as effective behind Mouton.

Mouton is nowhere near as effective at eliminating tacklers, and it really isn't close. Mouton isn't as good at knowing who he needs to be blocking, at getting to that person, or at executing the block. That's why he was pulled last Saturday for a linebacker and a guy they were trying to redshirt.

Edit: LF can still be effective behind Mouton, but he would also be effective out there barefoot but that doesn't mean cleats aren't better.

Thank you. I'm not saying Moore isn't good at what he's supposed to do. I'm just saying Fournette makes him look better by having the ability to make routine runs into bigger gains. Not many rb's at LSU have been able to do that.

Haven't you people learned to never believe anything Miles says leading up to a big game.

It's refreshing to have arguments about the starting fullback instead of ones about the starting QB

FYI on T White... just talked to his mother at work, she sort of snickered when I showed her the messages about Tre being on crutches. So. She said he's about 65% right now, that he's coming home this weekend to work with a trainer that has been working with him for a while now. He's been rehabbing and training his butt off, and said over his dead body will he miss next week's game.

So Tre is taking care of business, and will be on that field come Nov 7

Neighbors is the most unappreciated Tiger since Danny Macrae (sp?).

He was the best fullback I've ever seen at LSU. Let me remind you that the SEC was terrorized by Copeland, and Neighbors sent him to the bench.

Hopefully he's getting better in 5% increments every day.

Great to hear about T White.

I hope Moore has spent his time off studying that 3-4 defense; I think he'll pave the way for LF7.

As for the other fullbacks, Quinn and Neighbors were really good. Copeland was frustrating because if he blocked the right guy, he killed him, but he missed a lot.

Fwiw I never said he would miss the Bama game or that he couldn't walk or anything like that

But he was on crutches, precautionary or not, I saw what I saw unless he's got an evil twin out there hanging out with Dural.

If I'm trolling I'm not very good at it

It's not like I said he beat a little old lady over her head with his crutches or anything. Nothing controversial, just a player with a knee injury was using crutches goddamn that's a sweet troll, I really got you guys !!!!

Wildtiger93. ... wasn't trying to call you out with my post. I just happened to show her that post and she just sort of snickered, then told me what was going on with him. She didn't deny or admit him being on crutches, afterall, she is in Shreveport while he was in Baton Rouge. She probably got a kick out of it that her son was being discussed, even tho she does know about this site. So I believe you that he was prob on crutches for a bit, just wanted to give an update on his status, since this is one player I have a lil insight on.

So I wasn't trying to call you out or anything. (On phone and don't know how the hell to pull up the emoticons..so insert beer mug toast emoticon here......)
