I actually agree. He needs to gain more confidence in the pocket. The line needs to learn to hold their blocks through the throw. The receivers also need as many pass reps as possible.

We need to fix all the little things. If we can, we're unstoppable.

yep and the team should ask us to make a shite-ton of noise, Like we're rooting for Towson when they're on offense. It would help and it would be fun.

YES. He should have put rivers in there when they were up 56-14. Rivers NEEDS to play ALOT of time this week. WHY????? Cause FLA is gonna BLITZ the shite out of Mett. That means it COULD BE one play away from it being Rivers team to lead. Think about it.

Its not how many times you throw it ,its what specific pass routes you work on.
if mett threw the ball thirty times on little five yard passes and quick passes to the sidelines what would that accomplish ?
What needs work is the twenty yard crossing routes and the fifteen yard back shoulder passes with the receiver running to the sideline, the ones where only the receiver can catch it and takes two steps and is out of bounds and stops the clock.
We need work on the fade in the endzone and the quick pass from the five yard line to the tight end like brees throws so well to J.G. all the time.
We need to work on screens up the middle and passes to backs out of the backfield.

Its not throwing it forty times that's important. Its throwing to develop plays that need to work and find out exactly what pass plays that this team are great at.

christ almighty how shook up do you think he is? Why does the rant always assume our starting QB has such a fragile psyche? I think the poor little kitten can handle himself okay

This. Our receivers can get open all night against Towson, but it wont be beneficial. They need to work on what we're gonna need against stiffer competition.

If Mett throws over 30 times this week, we are losing.

I will be surprised if Mett. stays healthy all season, given what we saw the other night. Rivers does need some significant PT, but not this week. Mett needs to throw early and often.

Every offensive snap needs to be dedicated to the pass if we ever hope to improve pass protection.
