LSU fans need to get their fricking craniums out of their azzes, Les Miles has not been a loser for LSU or the players, or the university, he's been a winner with integrity. Yes, he needs improvement in some areas, but he's still a big fricking winner.

Uh, actually you made a rather valid historical comparison here.

Les Miles and George Armstrong CUSTER are alike in that both's stubbornness and ego caused them to ride blindly into a situation they were totally unprepared for--Custer into three thousand Sioux and Cheyenne braves and Les running his stone age offense into the teeth of Alabama's defense.

Les has been doing that over and over for years.

Custer only got to do it once.

It's time that Les not be allowed to do it anymore.

He is paid by the LSU athletic department, which receives no tax dollars. Donors to TAF, season ticket holders, etc. are paying his salary, not taxpayers.

I am so sick of hearing this.

How many times have we heard/read this? "But next year, watch out....."

It's the same stuff every year. I am a big Miles advocate, that's no secret. That being said, I'm am so sick of "but next year when it clicks...." and stuff along those lines.

Given the recruits we get, we should be every bit of Alabama's equal.

Bottom line is it comes down to coaching.

Crap, I heard Miles on the radio saying a couple days ago, "I think we have enough plays to get it done" or something along those lines.

There's no creativity on offense. Very few passes to TE's (they're pretty much used for blocking), the jet sweeps have just vanished, the OL has gone backwards in a big way in two games. Special teams has been just terrible.

I would love to see Miles just turn the reigns over to Cameron and focus solely on his players. I know he loves them and they love him.

But given his paycheck, he's paid to get the job done, better than what it has been. And this has been easily 3 years of this. I say 3 years because that was our last trip to the BCSNG.

We looked so bad last night. I haven't seen a buttkicking like that in Tiger Stadium, ever.

Get it fixed Miles. I don't want to see you go out on a bad note.

He's done a ton at LSU but I don't know what the problem has been lately.

Last I checked, the basic state salary for LSU's head football coach is 300K.

The rest of the 4M, as stated, is funded through private sources.

I feel the same way, he's making 4 million, his LSU team shouldn't be getting it's azzz handed to it like that, but I don't want Miles to go out on a bad note.

I can't fathom what's wrong with this situation. LSU may be the best team in the country. Yes, there are aspects that aren't the greatest, but we have Leonard Fornette and Brandon Harris, among others, who are stars. There is no reason for the Alabama loss except being out-coached, the same for Arkansas. Every year since the horrible Clemson game in Atlanta LSU has failed to step up. I blamed Chavis for the internal squabbles, but he's gone. So, who? Why? The same song, different verse. Like Tennessee in Fulmer's last years and Georgia under Richt something's wrong. Will Harris ever be better than he is? Will Fournette? Are we looking at some transfers?

So that performance on Saturday night was well worth his 5 million per year salary? No heart, uninspired, unprepared effort?

For the sake of accuracy, please tell us if this is from 2012, 2013, 2014 or 2015?

LSU is going to be a pre season top 5 team next year. Anything less than an SEC Title, and everyone needs to be fired including Alleva.
