LSU isn't going to fire Les Miles this year, he's one of the best recruiters and coaches of character there is in the entire country. I'd still want my son playing for Miles.

But Les Miles has to prove next year that the college game hasn't passed him by, that's what everyone is thinking right now. Miles deserves a chance to prove it hasn't. I agree with others though, that next year needs to be his last chance. LSU shouldn't pay $millions and continue to see that kind of lack of production on the field, no major university would accept that.

Come on coach, get this fixed, I don't want to see you turn out like Spurrier. Prove the doubters wrong. I'm really hoping that you do.

Yes, it's this LSU fan base calling for the immediate termination of Les Miles.

Let me repeat, I'd still want my son to be coached by Les Miles, to be coached by a man of Miles' character so that he's not being misled, to be coached by a man with Miles' abilities, so that he's not a failure in the NFL. Yes Miles needs to fix other areas of his coaching, but the two I mentioned can not be denied.

He is not getting fired but I will say his seat will start to get warm if we continue on this slide for the rest of this year.

Because of what I stated below.

Miles needs to fix every phase of his team. What does that say about a guy in year 11?

One need only listen to his first post game interview and realize that time is long gone

What basis do we have to pay this man this kind of money

His first two seasons he tried to run both sides of the game himself. Why? Because its about the money. I also believe he is an fraud and getting away with it year after year. Once we decide to get a real coach we'll have to give him time to build a team. We need to do it sooner not later

If LSU is paying $4M for a mentor than I think Dr. Phil is available for a lot less.

I agree-great person but he's over his head coaching in the SEC.

It says Miles has a lot of work to do that is unfinished. And I agree that's not an appropriate thing to have happen for a guy making his salary. I'm just not ready yet to go on a head coaching search, ask me next year.

We said the same thing last year. Unless Miles is struck by lightning, he isn't changing. Get used to winning 8, 9 or 10 games a year but never a championship.

The real reason why many don't want to do a coaching search right now is because they are not confident that LSU would hire a good HC.

I'm just not ready to throw the $12 million away and fire our coach. It's really bad timing. Just make Miles aware this next year is his last to get it right.

The problem with your theory is IF you believe this team truly has national championship possibility why trust him to get us there and not Jimbo if we could get him?

About LSU loss to Arkansas.
I think people who watched the team saw this coming. My dad a former coach saw this coming. I tried to tell him LSU was holding back on game plan and preparation. Just adding more as the games continued. Apparantly not the case. At LSU we want a shot at the national title every year. We know they are possible. Alabama humiliated the team. There were only 3 third downs made in that game. Hey Les why show up????? Now Arkansas runs all over us. The defense calls are horrible. And your not using a running QB the right way. He's running when he should pass. He's passing when he should run. After the Arkansas game LSU is now 42nd in the country for 3rd down conversion pct. You made 3 third downs in the bama game. In the Arkansas game again!!! you only made 3 third downs. Thats unacceptable. Very unacceptable. Your making it so much easier on other teams. Omg in rushing yards Arkansas had 299yds. And LSU had 59yds. 59yds????? and you did 30 rushing plays. What in the world????? And Les saying it was your fault doesn't help. Not at all. It be like General Custard before everyone is killed by Indians. Saying troops this is all my fault??? "Les" get your head out your arse. Get back to what worked. Use #7 the right way. And if you don't beat Sabin next year please leave. We don't wanna be like UGA . And have a team(Florida) dominate us. Quit being stupid Les!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Vegas was giving Ark 8 points, I warned everyone betting that the most logical bet was taking Ark and the 8, got down voted. I saw this one coming in the Bama game, LSU has somewhat of a decent defense but no real offense or special teams.
