Not sure who is down voting a simple, enthusiastic, homer message. Bama fans trolling this board are taking their down voting too seriously.

It's not Miles I'm so focused on, it's Cameron and Chavis. I don't expect much new and different from Chavis; maybe Cameron will find a way for us to put up an effective passing game.

Memo to o-and d-lines: You don't want to be Bama's bitches in front of a national TV audience, do you? Okay then ... let 'er rip.

But they can't. Again, why do you expect a 180 degree turn this late in the season? The D-line is weak, and the O-line, gosh, I don't know. Every year, I think they're going to be good, and they rarely surpass mediocre. I hope our team plays well, but those of you who are expecting something different will be disappointed.

Truth. I put the memo out as a plea more than anything else. I truly hate to say this but over the past few years, Bama's o- and d-lines have been bigger, faster and more physical than ours. Anyone can see that. I'm hoping against hope this won't be the case again on Saturday.

It's too late in the season to expect the defense to suddenly get better, especially against a team like Bama. They struggled to stop UAB and Kent State. Our defense is what it is, and that's just plain bad. Chavis is not going to abandon his scheme in favor of an aggressive and attacking style of play. What concerns me just as much is the offensive line protecting Mett.

We need to deal with facts.

Those are not facts. That is an opinion pulled out of a butt-hurt wazoo.

Before the BC game, Les vs Saban was 3-2. Now its 3-4. You are feeling so humiliated by the NC loss that a 3-4 record seems to be more like 0-7. Take it easy. It's only a game.

If Saban does not go to Texas and has continued success, you'll die a thousand deaths just wondering what-if?

Just what my eyes have seen watching the games. And not just games against Bama. I'll be more than happy if we win the battle of the lines this Saturday.

Drake, you may have been saying this in jest, but this is an issue that has been or should have been a concern all year. How many times has Mettenberger gotten to the line with 15 seconds left on the play clock only to get a delay of game or burn a TO? It is just ridiculous.
Put it this way, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it happened.

So has saban

If my memory is correct I'm pretty sure Miles has a better record than Saban coming off bye weeks. Just food for thought.

The size, speed and physicality of the respective lines won't change between now and Saturday. It ain't about the Xs and the Os, but the Jimmys and the Joes. Saban has been outrecruiting us and it is beginning to be apparent.
