Definitely not Jimbo

I'd say it HAS to be someone that can recruit LA and very personable.

Landscape of who's available will be much different in 4-5 years

i think the right number for Miles is 20 years.

I just look at the recruiting classes. And you have to figure some nice seasons are coming.

Schembechler coached 21 years at Michigan.

The kids'll be getting married. Having kids. I think that's when he'll get about tired of it.

A want for over 200 victories.

I want Jimbo more than anyone if he get,s a good consistent defense.

Why would he ever leave FSU though?

Jimbo fisher has said the two programs he'd leave for are Alabama and LSU

How many head coaches to have won a national title have made a lateral move to another program absent extenuating circumstances?

Bobby Bowden was the HC at Florida State for 33 years despite reaching 10 wins only once in his last 9 years. Jimbo Fisher will stay at FSU until he retires or until it is mutually decided that he is no longer effective as a head coach.

More to the point, why would you want a head coach whose name is attached to Ryan Perrilloux, Jamarcus Russell, Jameis Winston, De'Andre Johnson, and Dalvin Cook?

What if Miles stays for another 5 years? The top coaching candidates today probably wont be the top coaching candidates then.

hell, the top candidates THAT ARE AVAILABLE TODAY won't be the same one year from now. it ain't easy replacing a HC and there's a lot of luck involved. look at bama after stallings. the only reason Saban was available is because he didn't like the pro game. bama went thru 5 or 6 coaches before they lucked out on him.

Gary Patterson. TCU always has a good defense and he has figured out what to do on offense.

Wow off season topic. Everything changes year to year and in 3-5 years a completely new picture arises. Pure speculation at this point.

Frank Wilson has never been a Head Coach or even an Offensive Coordinator at the collegiate level.

Yeah, lets let him take over at LSU because he can recruit well.

Takes a lot more than just being a good recruiter to manage a major college football program.

Hiring him would be a "Larry Porter" like disaster of epic proportions.

Let Frank go get some experience as an Offensive Coordinator or Head Coach at a smaller school (And show some competence there) before even bringing up his name in connection with any future LSU football Head Coach vacancy...................
