Does anyone else on that list have the same fiasco at Ole Miss?

Yes, as a matter of fact, Myer would probably call his loss to Ole Miss a fiasco...not as dramatic, but a fiasco none-the-less.

I'm trying to remember....which of these coach on this list has a loss ULM?

Typical mediocre fan.

Don't confuse me with stats showing Miles is second in winning % of all SEC coaches and first in winning % for ALLLLLLLLLLL LSU coaches here 5 yrs, I want him gone because I'm a idiot and a mediocre LSU fan.

Go pull for Alabama, you mediocre fan.
lol, Boy you sure told me Sparky. If not wanting to accept Mediocre as a Mediocre I guess I am.

Fans like you would be happy with Gerry Dinardo

I see you still dont want to explain that 1-8 record against top 25 teams the last two years.

Be happy LSU played a soft OOC Schedule last year.

What are the teams that had 5 or more Top Ten finishes in the last 10 years? I'll spot you OSU and USC because of the conferences they play in. Who else is there?

I just hope the next ten years are as "mediocre" as the last ten.

Yeah, lots of similarities there. DiNardo won 33 games in 5 years, Miles won 51 games in 5 years.

One averages 10.2 wins per season, the other, 6.6 per season. Do you know which is which?

Are on running low on Tusker Times material?

Sandwich, Miles needs to get this offense steamrolling so we can be in Atlanta in December.

I have no problem with those first 3 but if you think those last two are acceptable, thats sad. Compare Miles record to Larry Coker

:wtf

You are a mediocre poster too.

If you want to cherry pick, cherry pick this.

Miles has 9 wins over coaches who won a NC, 18 wins over top 25 teams, and the second beat winning % of coaches currently in the SEC.

Way not to answer that 1-8 question against top 25 teams the last two years dipshit.

I'm not surprised, you keep on being happy with LSU football being average. 0-2 against Meyer, Saban and Nutt these last two years, thank god for cup cakes on the schedule.

Cherry pickers like you are only mediocre fans who like to shite stir and attack the LSU football program. You cherry pick only the negative and totally ignore anything that isn't negative. Miles has been here 5 yrs and had great teams and good teams, but never a losing team and all you can bring to the table is 1-8, 1-8, 1-8 like some spoiled child who has to have what he wants or he will stomp his feet and cry.

Get over yourself.

I see 9 pages of crap...ugh. I think I"ll add my own little dump to add it.

It simply boils down to this....this team isn't going to do well if it:

1. Doesn't have a QB with some decent brain matter between the ears to guide it on the field...

2. Has receivers that can't routinely make solid catches....and lastly

3. runs another option to the short side of the field.

so a mediocre fan doesn't think the coach is a great coach, but a great fan think he's a great coach? is that how it works?

the same coach that just completed an undefeated n.c. season, also had an undefeated regular season last year, & a 1 loss n.c. season in 03. i'm trying to remember, which coach had the 112th ranked offense last year, which coach was in charge of the most unorganized defense in recent memory, & which coach who can't recruit & develope a qb to save his life?

Im over myself Sparky, Enjoy watching LSU be Mediocre with that Mediocre Coach. He took an elite program and turned it int Oklahoma St Jr.

O well another sorry year like the last two and hes gone (he needs to at least win the west)

I still cant believe he didn't fire an OC who had LSU ranked #112 in total Offense last year.

Why is it "9 pages of crap"? Is that cause the thread title is not one knocking JJ, JL, Miles, GR, or JC?

You don't know what kinda " brain matter" our QBs have anymore than I do, but you feel the need to "dump" your "crap" on them.

I'm sure that will make everything better for them and the football team.

It's these kind of comments that make me raise an eyebrow and is probably the reason you get attacked by so many on this board. Your point-of-view seems very odd to me.

Either A) you're not an LSU fan and merely posing as an LSU fan ... OR ... even worse B) an LSU fan that would actually prefer LSU to lose so that you can pound your chest and say "I told ya so." Either way is a very subjective point-of-view and not an ideal way to have your opinion of LSU football respected by others.

You may very well end up being right (that Miles is a mediocre coach at best), but up to this point in Miles' career at LSU, you are, however, wrong. What does the future hold? Who knows, but we will all get to see it play out on the field in 2010 and beyond. I'll wait and see what actually happens rather than base my opinions on what I predict will happen.

And while the above comment was not directed at me, I'd guess one of the reasons you're getting no responses to this comment is because LSU is not 1-8 the last two seasons against ranked opponents. The Tigers are 3-6 against ranked opponents the last two seasons, and while I'm not happy with that record, considering 2008 and 2009 were arguably the worst LSU teams this decade and that four of those losses came against the last two national champions, it's not as "doom and gloom" as you make it out to be.

WIN% COACH (RECORD)
.851 Meyer (57-10)
.773 Miles (51-15)
.771 Saban (81-24)
.769 Richt (90-27)
.741 Spurrier (157-55)

Bottom line after this year... Meyer drops marginally, miles dips behind saban probably and spurrier lags further behind the top four at year's end

give it up, bro. they're too dense minded and in denial. if you compare Miles to Smoke Laval, they'll say "he didn't win a NC...no comparison!" if you compare Miles to Larry Coker, they'll say "there's no comparison! he was never a head coach anywhere else!!" in reality, Les Miles' recent downslide is very comparable to Laval and Coker. i remember people on this board saying the same shite about Laval and Brady when they got canned. "but he had the best winning percentage in the SEC and brought us to 2 CWS appearances! why was he fired?!" and "but he brought us to the final four! why was he fired?!" they just can't figure it out.
