Even though Miles makes me scratch my head at times, I am proud that he has been the coach at LSU for a decade now. He has been a stable influence and has built a program that garners respect around the nation now despite many of the miserable fricks who post on this board every day.

Les Miles gets national respect because he wins football games, football titles and has class. plus he's a cool and likeable guy. other teams respect him because he brings competitive teams to play them and how hard it is to beat a Les Miles coached team.
MOST LSU fans are reasonable people and respect Miles for the same reasons plus he's a great mentor for the men on our team. LSU's team. my alma mater's team.
this board, however, has a lot of detractors. I don't know the make up of these people but I can figure out some things about them by what they say....
most are young
most are not LSU graduates
most do NOT know jack about college football
most DEMAND their way or the highway
most are VERY closed minded
in short, people you don't want to associate with in real life.
I think it's mostly just a group of young and very young kids that don't know much about the way the real world works and have been sheltered in life up to this point. they have not competed in sports but have played a lot of xbox football and like it. so they demand a winner and would fire the coaching staff EVERY year they don't get one.
they'll grow up one day.

You negatiger fans made every shitty negative excuse there was for how LSU was able to come back against Miss ST and almost win.
Tell us sunshine pumpers just how was it that Aub wasn't able to do to State what LSU did late and make it a competitive game? What's your weak #ss answer for that?

thank you for enquiring about my condition. already you don't fit the description of the type of fan I mentioned.
I am fine. as far as I am aware the only insecurity I have is for the future of our country. I feel as if my generation has over spoiled our children and just hope to hell our children don't do that to our grandchildren.

An Auburn fan is mentioned in the op, and if I'm not mistaken they are 3-7 against him. That doesn't really seem like much of an advantage.

I'm not ignoring the second half of your post, but the fact that each of these programs were put under sanctions during or shortly after the tenures of the coaches you mentioned might have something to do with the hatred.

Les Miles is a national punch line to the media. They love his futile attempt at speaking english. He constantly entertains them with those ever common scratch your head Lesisms, not because of his coaching ability. When good coaches are talked about, LM hardly ever comes up. You people are so delusional

Ever been on the SECr? I don't see much admiration for Miles.... I see more hate and venom which is how I want opposing fans to view my coach, it means we beat them.
