Mike really is an average or less than average DC. He has way more straight up bad years than he does decent years.
He has benefitted from the Stoops name and Venables. With our talent and staff we won't have a disaster defense, but I don't see him giving us anything better than mediocre and we need better than that.
This would be a bad hire. I'm not really over reacting as I'm way too apathetic for that right now.
