I'm sure people said the same thing about him being a heisman candidate and All American when he was a 3 star coming out of high schoo

He only needs one team to pull the trigger on him not 32. Let that team be dallas and i'll fap for a week straight!!
I've been telling my buddies that he meets 2 needs for the Cowboys. a DB to play nickel and add to the blitz, and a return man (get Dez back on the sidelines for ST)

We should do a contest- pick the number and team where Mathieu ends up?
This guy could go late 2nd or early 5th. My gut tells me he will continue to impress at pro day and somebody will reach late 2nd or early 3rd. My hope is 57th to Houston. Get him with Ed Reed and they may finally beat New England. But there is something to be said with the comment, that if u get kicked off LSU's team; next stop is jail.
No GM would want to take him with a 2nd or 3rd and he screw up again. Even the 4th, if he doesnt pan out could be costly. These are the kinds of guys that can cost the GM or HC their job. Its less dangerous for a GM to just pass on the Badger.
Im not sure why no one thinks he can be a starting corner in the NFL. I dont think he will be a shutdown corner but to be the other corner is in his skill/size set. IMO

because 3rd and 4th rounders are consistently super stars. There is virtually no risk in drafting him in the 4th round. a very minimal cap hit

Teams are sandbagging. Trying to throw other teams off their scent. IMO, someone is looking to get him in the second round.

Crappy teams are still filling needs in the 3rd and even 4th round. Good teams can take chances on a guy like this in those rounds. My feeling is he ends up on a contender, possibly a SF, NE, Denver, etc. That way, they are not hurt as much by taking a risk on a "problem child".

I'm on the record he'll go late second. His on the field play will over weigh his weed problem.

The most instinctive playmaker I've ever seen in an LSU uniform. And I've been watching from section 213 since 1969.

Seriously? For TM's sake (and the Saints), the LAST thing he needs is to be in N.O. I understand the pull of having an LSU player on the Saints, but if there is one that needs to stay the frick out of NO, it's TM.

Radio here reports that he worked out for the Texans today. No word yet on how it went.
