Please!! Why in the hell would LSU need/want to add any new players to a team that will be ranked in the top 2 (minimum) to start the season and is a preseason favorite to reach the NC game. I'm sure the current players who have been busting their asses all spring and summer would love to add new guys 2 fricking weeks before fall practice starts.

Do you really think we need to add to our roster to be able to beat Bama? Sorry, I thought our players were of pretty decent quality. So, no, I don't really think bringing in a player from PSU is going to enable us to beat Bama.

What I've read so far is the NCAA is strongly considering allowing any PSU transfer to come in to the new school even if the new school has reached its limit of scholarships. LSU would be able to exceed the current limit in order to take one or more PSU players. Probably know in a day or two.

Anyone who would be opposed to adding Mauti is absolutely clueless. He'd step in and provide immediate depth behind Minter. If whoever is 2nd string now cant beat Mauti out he shouldn't be complaining about a new kid here. Tenure is for teachers and state workers. GTFO with that bullshite

I think it was out there he'd follow Rich's footsteps.
The guy wasn't under the radar or anything and ranked pretty high for staff to just miss.
Then again, I believe that was back during Mal-veto, so coulda been a miss.
