Miles wants Harris to win the job but will not be afraid to play it safe with Jennings.

2 Qb means that you don't have one.

2014 Ohio State
2011 LSU
2007 LSU (used RP some)
2006 Florida
2003-2004 Georgia

Countless other teams have had some version of a 2 QB system, or had a successful season while playing more than 1 QB.

I don't really think we should this year, mainly because Harris is a better runner than Jennings. So it's not like we'd be using one for passing and one for running.

2014 Ohio State BS.One took over and won the biggest game. Was not 2qbsys
2011 LSU Lost Rematch MNCG

DGAF about the rest.

True. He will revert to the play to not lose and hope our D steals us a "chance to win" mentality in a minute. LSU sure was fun to watch and just as successful when he had balls

We don't have the QBs for a 2-QB system. A 2-QB system has 1 pro-style pocket passer (generally) and 1 mobile, dual-threat QB - we have 2 dual-threat QBs.

Every football coach in the history of the game knows that you don't plan for a 2 QB system, you default to it when neither guy can deliver the full package of the offense. It's the schematic equivalent of a Hail Mary.

I don't think Harris is the better runner. He's probably faster. But, within the tackles Jennings is probably better.

This is being blown out of proportion. Mike D said he THINKS miles wants a 2 qb system. I would be surprised if that were the case

How'd this work for Ohio State last year? LSU in 2011? Florida 2006?

You can be successful playing any combination of players, as long as they work as a team to defeat your opponent.

The 2 QB system worked well during the 2011 season.

That was a pro style QB and a dual threat.

Jennings doesn't offer a different look. He's a downgrade in speed and arm strength. He doesn't add a wrinkle that Harris can't provide.

They had three quarterbacks total. And they have 3 guys battling it out for this season, and we'll probably see 2 of them both get reps throughout the season. According to you, that means that have no quarterback.

Ahhh, classic. Just ignore the fact that without both quarterbacks, we wouldn't have won the SEC, and probably wouldn't have been in that game in the first place.

Of course you don't.

Let him do this and it not work out this year.

Unless they are so vastly different in skill sets the whole defensive mentality has to change. Not the situation we have

I think Mike D has lost patience with Les. He's saying what will have to happen for Les to be fired a two qb system would not equal a good record and warm up the seat.

Mike D makes up half of his stories. He always pretends to know the depth chart and who the surprise player will be. He is never right, yet radio shows continue to let him talk. My kids could do what he does. Mike D doesn't deserve the nickname Mike D.

We have one dual threat and a no threat
