Wait Jemele Hill is racist?
No that's just white people's perception. Personally I love the show because it's just two people sitting around talking about sports and cracking at each other. Basically it's like me and homegirl kicking it at a bar

Mike and Mike - who basically suck - would not have jobs if not for their gossip-centric pimping of stories on athletes - college and pro - re: they make ALL their money off of athletes ... that show really blows imho ...

Go look racist and racism in the dictionary and then start posting again. You might learn something instead of posting dumb comments

Their bashing has nothing to do with them being black, it has every thing to do with the fact that they are fricking awful at their jobs.

Lol at ESPN for criticizing ANYONE for capitalizing on college athletes. Hypocrisy of the highest order.

LOL. But let me guess, it's just fine to market a big college football or basketball game by using the teams stars' likeness?

ESPN is THE reason all of this "pay the players" bullshite is a topic.

Athletes are paid and paid well with a free education, room nd board, etc

What if a school LOSES money in a sport, do those athletes have to pay the school for the loss?

Oh yeah, ROFLMAO that someone listens to M&M! You do realize they get paid to argue both sides and keep a topic alive as long as ESPN sees fit, right?

That's YOUR opinion, which is stupid because they obviously do well enough to have their own show on a multi billion dollar network.

To their credit they are arguing that they shouldn't be singling him out since that is against ncaa policy. NCAA argues that they schools market their teams and university,

Yet their own organization employs them to talk ad nauseum about amateur players...

Has anyone mentioned the fact that this kid will be using LSU as a stepping stone to make millions? It's a mutual relationship. The school uses the athletes to draw in viewers, while the athletes use the school to further their career.

What the hell is so wrong with this?

This has always been done to promote programs. Is it equally as bad for espn the magazine or SI to have put Shaq or Tebow on their covers when they were in college? It for espn to promote a big upcoming game that has a famous collegiate athlete in it?
