Can't be a single game state record. A-train had over 480 against north caddo in 95 or 96. Don't know if that is even a state record.

Ford's a stud, can't wait to see him in tiger stadium!

Thought he was single season holder for state. Might be wrong. Surely he wasnt all time? I know he tore it up his junior and senior year.

Probably in top 5 I would assume-He graduated in 97 though

ETA-We talked bout this before but it seemed like Juice got over 300 yard every game. Would be interesting to see how he compares to single season holders

Breaks Cecil collins record just an FYI.

These are some tough shoes to fill. This guy was a beast, for the few games he played @ LSU

I think Ford broker Cecil's Leesville single game record twice this year.

Anyway, here's the top list for career rushing yards (LHSAA)....

How many games does Ford have left? What are his chances of getting that last star?

Playoffs start tonight, so as few as one game and as many as 5. Probalby not more than 3. Bastrop in the 3rd round, if they both make it.

Thanks for the correction.

Does it really matter if he gets the last star? I don't care if he is a 1 star if he can come into Baton Rouge and produce.

Wouldn't that be three games?

Nope, but could it hurt? I think he deserves it.

Jesus. 218 in the 1st quarter? For crying out loud. That's hard to do! The field is only 100 yards long.

I've seen him in person, and I promise you he's the real deal. Just blew everyone away. The bad thing is, his qb, Stallworth, has signed with Aubie and is just as good. Stallworth has a high ankle sprain and might not play tonight, so Ford will have to be their plowhorse.

BTW, Stallworth signed with AU as an athlete (I think), meaning he'll probably play wideout or corner, but not qb.

Ford is a different type of runner than Cecil, but comparable in production. Can't wait to see him in Tiger Stadium!
