Open For A Reality Check

Imagine thinking recruiting rankings the end all be all in this. Miami had the #21 class in 2016 but yet produced 2 freshman all american linebackers, freshman all American de , and freshman all American receiver which was the most in the country.

Go look at how many guys Miami will have in the draft next year. Hell Miami might have 4-5 top 50 picks on the defense alone in the 2019 draft.

You may not think much of Athlon Sports.... Perhaps you're partial to CBS Sports instead.

What are you saying lol? This is widely regarded as Miami’s most talented team since the early 2000s.

Your OL looks like it may be a real liability. And, your secondary can definitely be had (I'm not sure we'll be able to take advantage of that though.)

Your assessment of LSUs defense is enough to prove your ignorance

You could be right, it probably is Miami's most talented team since the 2000's. That doesn't make it more talented than LSU's roster though.

Are you really not understanding that LSU's composite recruiting rankings average is at 6.5 over the last 5 years while Miami's is at 16.5.

In simple terms it means that LSU has signed the #6 nationally ranked recruiting class the last 5 years. Miami has signed the 16th nationally ranked recruiting class the last 5 years.

This is how talent and depth is measured in college football.

Do you still believe

Ignorance is bliss, keep hiding behind those recruiting rankings. Miami has plenty of talented guys and the draft will show it next year plus we had brought in a really talented class last cycle. Just watch

But I’m sure we will get the same old excuses for Orgeron should he lose despite the fact we have at worst a top ten roster in terms of talent. Not to mention a transfer QB that could have started at Ohio State. I guess it will be all Les’s fault.

You do realize LSU will have a lot of players drafted next year as well? Your argument would work against Syracuse or Pitt but not LSU

I think he is saying that u think your team is greater than what it is. I think he is saying that expert analysts do not know what they are talking about because u obviously know more than them.

Bottomline, this might be the best team the canes have had in years but that ain't saying much. They will be ok but not great. Your team this year if compared to what LSU is used to, we would consider the team you are fielding this year as a down year for LSU. Your high standards of of what you think a great team the canes have this year is considered low standards for us but go ahead and carry on. As you were private

You're either really this football ignorant or just completely bias.

So, signing highly ranked recruiting classes is only meaningless when determining LSU's roster talent.
