All 3 picks came on the same play. Maybe Cam should have stopped calling that same play over and over. Playaction post to Beckham into drop 4 coverage is just asking for an interception.

You still have the option to not throw the ball or throw away if not open. There was a lot of forcing throws and the deep pass for the the dint was thrown to the wrong spot. The field was open where beckham was going but he throw it to where the defender became the wr. The near 4th pick was under thrown on an open wr down field.

Throwing into double coverage was his problem. He was also throwing short all night long for some reason. He had a horrible night and LSU would have won had he corrected his errors.

Ole Miss' complex defense confused him all night even with a lot of subs.

The pressure wasn't even there sometimes and he still looked rushed and hurried the throw to get it out of his shaking hands.

Lol. That could be the problem. Not to mention it looks like crap!

A 'beard' like his can cause issues......

Why can't people just understand this?

I'm more concerned that they rushed 35 times for only a little over 100 yards.

Problem is.....his 3 interceptions, were passes he completed against UAB and Kent State for TD's. So why wouldn't the staff believe we could do the same vs an SEC defense with injuries.

The balls were under thrown but the routes are predictable "Post" and "Corner". Throw a Post Pattern 3 yards to either side of the goal-posts every once and a while.

That's my point. He was shaking in his shoes after getting pressured and confounded by the defense. He couldn't regain his composure.

Reckon Saban or Kirby Smart will notice?

How about this? Maybe CHAVIS SHOULD NOTICE! You pressure a QB, he'll make mistakes. Hell, I remember a playoff game where the Steelers blitzed Peyton Manning and rattled him. If Peyton Manning can be rattled, you think Aaron Murray, and freakin' BO WALLACE can be rattled?

So maybe the big Chief should start watching some game film (like the film of Alabama crowding the line of scrimmage, pressuring ol' Slow Hand Bo, and shutting them out??

HOW ABOUT THAT???

Last nite the running game was working quite well with Hilliard and Hill.... Then for some strange reason Cam decides to throw deep balls @ Beckham with coverage over the top... What was the rush?... Then blue and Magee appear... Nothing wrong with that but if its not broken, don't try to fix it!...

It looked to me that the success has gotten to Mett's head. He showed absolutely no patience by continuing to throw deep when there was so much open short.

The blame for this falls on the coaching staff for allowing him to get above himself and not make adjustments to curtail his mistakes.

I think the entire coaching staff should take credit for this fiasco loss to Ole Miss. It's like they took all last week off and the team's quality of play and execution reflected what was lacking in advance preparation. Lazy, complacent coaching was exposed in Oxford. Ugly.

Problem was the Kid continued to throw bombs at the WR with double coverage..

He was doing fine with throwing the 10 to 12 yards passes. Why was he desperately throwing bombs, thats the question? Three were intercepted and a fourth was dropped by a defender..
