Mett was money and very impressive in his debut. The fumble was caused by weather, the int by deflection off RB hands. His pocket awareness was good, he got rid of the ball quickly, and more than anything he understands what "NFL open" is thanks to cam Cameron. Manziel was looking for wide open guys last night, while Mett was throwing into windows and anticipating the receiver coming open. Heath Evans said the same about Manziel during the browns game, although I thought Manziel was solid in his debut.

The laser he threw to Brian Robiskie was vintage Mett. They have built up a good chemistry in camp.

Gonna be hard to keep Mett on sidelines this year.

What you could not see on TV was the Titan veterans on the sideline rooting for Zach. Considering he had the 2s & 3s OL in front of him, great night for Mett

Meh...it's preseason guys. I hope he sticks with the team though.

This is kinda dumb. Are you thinking he might get cut? Don't see it happening. I think he's gonna be an absolute 6th round STEAL.

His main competition is Charlie Whitehurst, he should make the team easily.

He'll definitely make the team. They are going to keep three QBs. You can see the potential though.

I wish you could hear the comments by veterans on Titans team talk about Mett. They know this guy is someone special. Whizenhunt said he was the best arm in the draft.

That laser to Robiskie last night in the rain after a fumble and fluke interception speaks volumes to Mett's maturity.

I just wonder how long before fan and media are calling for him to play.

I thought he would be playing with the second team, and I'm assuming that isn't them with 6 mins left. So where is he on the depth chart?

He's been injured most of the offseason...

No, I don't think he'll get cut (although, if he's competing for the 3rd QB job it is a possibility). It's fine to get excited to watch him play, I was simply saying that it's a preseason game, so there's no need to get worked up about his stats. If the coaches see him doing the things they ask him to do, he'll have a spot on that team.

Mett will end up having a better pro career than all
of 2 or 3 of those guys taken before him. If his O-Line is good enough he could be very successful.

Mett certainly has the chest and ability to be a great NFL quarterback. See ya.

This is key for any success he is to have in the NFL.

The biggest weakness by far in Mett's game is immobility. IF he is pressured at all he just takes the sack because he cant evade the pressure at all just about.

Mett will not be getting cut.

Whisenhunt and the Titans knew that he wouldnt be ready to start as a rookie. Especially considering hes coming off a torn ACL and all that. Hes a player with a LOT of potential and talent and can be a starter and a damn good QB down the road. Just needs some experience and be coached up. And Whisenhunt is a great QB coach and the perfect guy to do it.

Oh and Lavar Edwards had a sack last night for the Titans too. So did Mingo with the Browns.

Speaking of the Titans-Packers game last night, anyone notice two former Tiger quarterbacks played for opposing teams in the same game? That's a rare occurrence for sure.
