Mett so far is a so-so QB. If he doesn't improve a bunch this year, if he gets drafted it all will be around last or not be drafted at all. I hope I am wrong but I haven't seen any sign that he has lived up to him potential.

And Kiper may be right. I mean, he makes a living doing this stuff. He doesn't have an axe to grind with LSU.. He's just going based on last year and last year, Mett only had a couple of games that stood out. He didn't warm up until the end of the year.

So far, nothing special about Mett. Lead boots, inconsistent, little jumpy. Hope he gets it all together this year.

At this point if you think Mett is top 5, your homerism is through the rough.
Mett has to prove himself this year before he earns the right to jump that high on anybody's list.
I hope he does turn out to be that good, but to be butt hurt about someone ranking him based on his productivity is compared to other is crazy.
I hope he proves the list wrong though.

Other QB's gonna make it happen, not Met. Cam ain't gonna put up with Miles bullshite if Met is not performing. There will be mutiny on the sidelines if things go south for Met and Miles refuses to sub QB.

Mel Kiper is character on Sesame Street. Why do people give this guy any credibility. He has no actual experience evaluating players as a scout or coach or anything. He's simply a tv personality. Quit letting him bother you.

My thoughts are
A. nothing to get our balls in a bunch over as he really didn't light it up last year.
B. I'm confident that he will put it together this year. I think the guy sees himself as a top QB and he's got Cam now to show him how he's not without improving from last year.

I think he will go in the 3rd round just based off his potential.

He's going home to get a regular job unless he improve drastically this season.

Mett may as well give up. These talking head evaluations are the real deal. I mean, when has Kiper ever been wrong about a prospect.

Not saying Mett deserves too, but Mel Kiper sucks balls at picking player draft potential. Over the last couple years, his picks have gotten worse.

I could care less what Kiper says. Mett may have a great senior year (hope he does) and get drafted in an early round, but as of right now, I don't see any NFL team drafting him.
