Jefferson was quantitatively bad.

Of course he his. Im sure its part of the reason he chose LSU. We werent the only ones recruiting him.

JJ is going to start vs oregon. All 3 guys will play at some point this season. We will either be losing and bench JJ, or we will be winning and they will get mop up time.

We have seen it since Saban was here. More than one qb will play. More than one qb will result in a win for us. Doesnt matter the name on the back of the jersey. They just got to get it done. If not hopefully the next guy will.

I understand why JJ is starting. I think he might have a good year for us. These aggressive comments that defend JJ as if he is the 'best' qb that we have need to stop though, because were' just going to pull these threads up next year and say see! I told you so.

I think JJ should start, but I swear to God, this whole leave JJ in even though we KNOW he sucks because we don't know if Mett is good argument is pretty freaking flawed. Go ask JL, who saved our arse several times last year...

JJ would have no clue on how to say that..

Nothing against Mett, but we seem to be placing a lot of hope/interest on a guy who to this point in time can't even climb over JL to earn more practice time.

You got to be shitting me. Are you really this stupid slapdick. JL Is a 5th year senior they will keep him ahead of Mett on the depth chart because of that

I really can't believe the shite that is spewed on this board. Do people think that Jefferson starts simply because of his age or classification? Coaches want to win. They don't owe anything to any player. But they owe it to the whole team to play the best player at each position.

General question: Has it ever occurred to you that Jefferson is ahead of both Lee and Mettenberger at this time?

I thought Chicken was going to keep you kids away from the grow-up forum. How old are you...15?

If you had been following LSU since 05, you would have seen any number of examples of Fr or So or Jr ahead of Srs on the LSU depth chart, Junior.

The only thing that seems to be holding Mett running 3rd is Mett. imo

For that matter, the jury is still out on JJ.
