He's going to be the starter for the Titans before the season is over. If they can protect for him, he's going to be very successful

gonna be a alot of teams that wish they hadnt passed on him. i hope he plays with that chip on his shoulder for a long time. Coach Cam did wonders with guy in just a year. This should help QB recruiting for sure.

Second game in a row he has looked great.

Against the saints, 20-25, 2 tds, 269 yards
Tonight going 12-20 with 161 yards and still time to get a TD.

He will be the real deal.

Locker has a tendency to get hurt. Mett is a good #2 option but he will take a lot of sacks with his immobility. Then again he can makes plays Locker could never do.

We all said that he should have been taken ahead of all but one or two of the other QBs in his class. Manzel isn't going to have a tenth of Mett's career.

Actually, Mett has looked very mobile in the pocket the last 2 games. Much more so than he was at lsu.

Led the Titans on 3 straight scoring drives for the win. I think he has locked up the #2 spot.

Not a direct rag at you bud but I just have to wonder how LSU fans didn't think that Mett would look better on his feet after surgery and rehab than he did during a grueling season where he was hurting and finally got taken out in the last reg season game.

Remember Ole Miss and those turnovers? Kinda silly for the guys who made the schedule to wait so long to give the team their first bye week huh? Mett was one of many who were due for a week off.

I always said that he was a first round guy because he was mobile enough to be a pro pocket passer when healthy. I also had him way ahead of Johnny FB mainly because pro coaches don't want a QB who pulls crap out of his arse to make plays. They want a guy that can do what they tell him to do and Mett is that kind of guy. His arm strength might have been the best of his class and his height didn't give him problems with passing lanes like it does with JFB.

From what I have seen from JFB so far, his coaches are trying to make him into a pocket passer and he only seems to do well when rolling out kinda like Flute. I couldn't believe that a pro staff was taking him over Mett. Mett lasting til the 6th round is amazing. I understand that his knees took him out of the first or second round but from to let him get past the third or even fourth was plum dumb for these teams that need QBs to do.

In the end Mett is in a great place to grow over the next couple of years. Cleveland will kill Manzel's career and they most likely would have gotten Mett's knees crushed even faster. All of the pain and work is paying off for a damned great him.
