He didn't transfer. Makes him a saint. I need to exit this thread before I bring down the wrath of the rant

Please pull up the Bama game from last Nov. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Dude, this is not about JL, this is about Mett. Lee is gone, get over it.

I love how people will act like Lee is some great QB just so they can hate on Jefferson and Les Miles.

Les Miles was basically in the Turd Sandwich or Giant Douche dilemma. Everyone should just be happy we have a legit QB prospect who has shown more in his limited starts then either of the previous QBs did over their LSU careers.

Okay Okay my last comment...

JJ>Mett running the ball
Mett>JL passing the ball

just saying. He's not really the type who going put his head down and just go for it.
i, for one, am glad he doesn't. i'm sure the rest of the team doesn't want him to miss time because of a concussion.

I think its only fair to show both extremes.

No you don't. Plus you're wrong, that happened in 2009, not 2010.

While you brought the year up. How about in 2010 when he led the game winning drive against Tennessee. Or the game winning drive against Florida. Or towards the end of the Bama game when he comes off the bench, steps up in the pocket and throws a nice pass to Randle to basically seal the game.

If you wanted to focus on fairness you wouldn't have neglected those points

If it'll make you happy, I'll edit the OP and omit the JL comparison.

Lee was the best QB ever at LSU, but Mett may be better. Happy?

1st half against bama here in 2010. We had the ball around mid field heading towards the south endzone. He threw it up for an int.

2nd half he sealed the game with a long completion.

I liked JL and I liked JJ they both were tigers. Some on here could never accept the fact that neither were that good.

Honestly he threw probably three of the worst passes of the season in that game. He threw two passes into the chest of UT defenders in the endzone (I think one was actually intercepted). He then just threw a ball straight up in the air over the middle of the field begging for someone to intercept it. Thank God UT was hot garbage.

Wow, what a hater. I guess Les probably should have let JJ finish that game too.. oh wait, he did.

Why even bring it up then? You could have just said that Mett is tough without even mentioning Lee. Does ragging on a former player who bled purple and gold help you in some way.

Or maybe you just can't handle a logical disagreement. No Lee wasn't a great qb, I never said he was, but he was a solid sec qb, who deserves more credit/respect than most ignorant fans give him.

If he was really as scared as you say, he wouldn't have stuck it out till his senior year. Just saying.

Holy frick you are stupid

LINK

Lee completed a 3rd and long and 4th and 14th with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Jefferson didn't come in till the redzone, for the running package

I'm done. The ignorance here is way too much.

We did run a PA pass early in the game where OBJ was open down field by 5 yards, but the OL blocking was so piss poor that Mett had to dodge 2 guys just to get back to the LOS.
