You make some interesting points but you do it in such a snobby, elitist way that no one wants to have a discussion with you. Can you not see that?

I guess I can't see that. I certainly don't mean to. I guess I would fit in in today's political world.

I post this because I think the board would be a better place if these self appointed elites would take a step back and realize that others have a right to their opinion too.

Great, so the next time I feel like being critical of Alleva and the sham that was his search for a football coach you can just kindly stfu.

Amen. I made a post after the TCU game about how Lange has regressed since his Freshman season and I got torched

you should really stop caring if people "torch" you aka downvoting. Doesn't mean a thing really

Unbearable? Lsu is ultra aggressive team with speed and athleticism all over the field. They steal bases and play great defense. That makes for pretty interesting baseball. If your a guy that only finds home runs interesting then today's college baseball isn't for you

CPM got lucky early in his tenure

My goodness nobody can descredit their own national championship winning coaches like LSU can. Some of the players were Smoke recruits but never played an inning under Smoke. CPM molded that team and made the right moves to win a championship. Like him or not you can't take that away.

We need to get back to power baseball.

Again if you only get enjoyment in baseball by seeing home runs then it isn't the sport for you. This way doesn't win in college baseball anymore. 2015 had plenty of power in the lineup for this era of college baseball and look what happened in Omaha.

Agreed, watching an LSU team that got as many hits (22 hits) last night as Florida (5), Texas A&M (4), Miss St (4), Arkansas (4), Alabama (2) and Vanderbilt (3) got last night COMBINED is unbearable to watch.....

ETA: And being 1st in the SEC in batting average (.329) as of today also really makes it difficult to watch LSU play.

Seriously, where do you people come from? Do you even pay attention to what's going on with the team before you post your inane dribble?

I really enjoyed watching our offense last night. There were maybe 1000 people left when Duplantis set the record. Happy to be there for that.

You don't have to be an expert to know Lange and Poche gave up runs in the first inning many times last year.

Lange was off but he was also in line for the win if he could have battled through the 5th.

LSU was never behind in the game after inning.

Pitchers have lots of stats to laud and be critical of, the most important the W which despite not pitching his best he almost got.

ETA. Melters I just ignore. Baseball is a funny game. An even game .500. HR - K. OUT - SAFE

Any board should welcome good takes from all kinds of posters. Thoughtful opinions whether they agree with mine as fun to read and discuss.

It's all good for thought and what makes the world go round.

And look PM agrees with all of us, when we advocate change. He might not agree with our specific ideas, but he seldom stands pat and is constantly trying to build a better mousetrap.

People need to be respectful, and things are fine.

Great post and so true. I have been going to baseball games since 85. Rarely miss an inning.

I post my opinion, but it's mostly based on facts that I know about the game. Played the game for 17 years and coached for another 15.

Unfortunately we have posters on this board that all they do is bash. They can't handle facts or reality.

Thanks for a great post.

Sounds like you would be a great missouri fan. I hear they have plenty of safe spaces.
