I’m not saying we need to hire Wade back

That’s why you made a thread to compare a low major to a high major?

quote:

I’m saying we need to get rid of McMahon who isn’t capable of winning here

Seems a bit premature to so confidently state this.

quote:

It always feels like we’re the underdogs whenever we play anyone besides these mid major crap teams

Well I part of that is because it’s a rebuild, the other part is because that’s just your feelings. You also think Mcneese is a better team.

So you spent more time than you should have to say you think wade is awesome and McMahon isn’t your favorite coach.
it’s more than him not being my favorite coach, it’s his inability to consistently win and how it’s ruined the program and the fan interest.

Yes, fan engagement is at a low low point with McMahon. No offense he is a ''meh, mid- tier nice guy,'' and his teams reflect it.
Even Johnny Jones who wasn't a consistent winner necessarily at least brought in serious talent that gave us fighting chances against anyone and offered an entertaining brand of bball. We need star/ athlete power that we have not gotten with McMahon.

McNeese would beat LSU all day

That’s a ridiculous statement. If they played today on a neutral court, LSU would be a ~4 point favorite.

Every objective analysis proves his offenses were consistently some of the best in the country and when he finally got the defense fixed, they were one of the best in the country.

This is accurate, but one legitimate knock on Wade was it was always either/or with his teams. His early teams were awful defensively, and his last year when he ramped it up defensively, they were a middling offensive team

You’re describing McMahon’s teams not Wade’s. Everything you’re saying is incorrect.

Xavier Pinson getting injured really affected the offense that season. The offense was much better prior and then really tailed off. I think another season and Wade could get both working at the same time.

Balance is key in the NCAAT and Wade knew that, he didn't just ignore the defense, he tried previously to fix it and didn't work, so he tried something different. I think last year or the year before was the first time that the NC wasn't Kenpom top20 in both offense and defense efficiency.

Considering McNeese already has 5 losses, your statement is biased and very dumb!

South Dakota, Liberty, and Santa Clara. But they do have that win over the French Club and Bible Studies Group.

That’s your only argument, our only impressive wins consist of Kansas state and Florida state. Guess what we might even win tonight vs mvsu. That’ll be soooo impressive won’t it buddy

It is better to have impressive wins versus impressive losses.

How? Year 3 and we are still clearly a bottom 3rd of the SEC team. When does this "rebuild" actually kick in?
