Yeah you right! Woodward can make another slam dunk hire like he did with Buzz Williams at A$M.

OP shows his lack of basketball knowledge and wrongheaded assessment of coaching. Sometimes, you just have to shake your head and feel sorry for someone.

Our fans are idiots.

Trent Johnson was a good fundamental coach, why don’t we just hire him back.

So because you have watched longer than anyone on here we need to take your word?

Others may say your age might effect your bad decision making too.

In all seriousness, how do you think college basketball is judged? Winning a conference is nice. March Madness is one of the most exciting sports events out there. That's where teams/coaches are judged.

His LSU teams have played in two NCAA Tournaments. TWO. They eventually lost to a No. 2 seed (Michigan St.) and a No. 1 seed (Michigan). It’s not as if they have been taken out by bubble teams or 13 seeds. Perhaps it’s just me, but I think it may reasonable to allow his teams to play in more than two NCAA Tournaments before we reach a full judgment of him. Particularly in light of the fact the program had only been in two tournaments in the 10+ years prior to his arrival. In Wade’s 2nd season alone at LSU his team won MORE NCAAT games than LSU had won in 12 YEARS.

If we are going to judge him by NCAAT success I’d say he’s currently on pace to be the best basketball coach in the history of LSU. Brown didn’t even make the NCAAT until his 7th season and Wade’s program already has more NCAAT wins than John Brady did in his first 8 seasons at the school.

But hey, let’s get rid of the guy who has led the program to its most consistent level of success in three decades. Because if there is anything the 70+ year modern history of LSU basketball has shown us it is that anyone can win championships at LSU.

Miller was supposed to be our scorer this season, but with him hurt, the team plays well for awhile most games but can't sustain that success. Now they're starting to look worn out except for Gaines.

Eason shite the bed last game and that can't happen anymore.
If Murray is hurt, he needs to sit.

Hope they make it to the dance.

You been watching since the 70s then I don't get why your not pumped with the best run of lsu basketball in 40+ years, and the best lsu bball hc start ever.

The fact your asking for a new coach does not compute with someone that's been watching lsu basketball since pistol pete

He shouldn't be fired, but his bench coaching is in question. He tolerates too much undisciplined play, especially when we have the lead. He doesn't have a real good point guard, so that hurts. His recruiting is good, next year will tell us alot.

The start to the season attracted a bunch of casual fans.

This is nowhere near Wade’s most talented team since he’s been here. This team was picked to finish mid-pack in the sec. Losing Miller impacted that even more. They are somewhere in between the 15-0 start and how they are playing now.

Some adjustments have to clearly be made on the court. Wade deserves a chance to make those adjustments. My one concern is a lapse of effort the last few games, hope that gets fixed.

Saying that, it is laughable that some of you clowns are calling for Wade to be fired. Stick to football.

Dumb is dumb and you lose games in basketball.

Wade has established something here, i.e. 20 win seasons and NCAA tourney appearances. Despite facing media attacks constantly.

You're fooling yourselves if you don't think Reid and company are benefitting from this experience. We recruited some smart young men whom some were rated higher than their current ability. We were also dealt a huge blow when we lost Miller.

We have players lining up to come here. Does CWW need to work on managing the flow of the game? Yes, but I believe some people are only reacting like this because they fed into the unrealistic expectations. Some of you never adjusted expectations with injuries and putting more inexperienced players on the floor too soon.

I’ve followed LSU Basketball longer than most on this board.

I can tell you have not followed as long as I have.

From my Dad’s perspective of watching the team play in the old Ag Center, to Dale Brown’s arrival and the building of the Assembly Center. My point is, I have watched and witnessed most every LSU game since the early 70’s.

Just because you were born in the 70’s doesn’t mean you watched them there. I graduated in ‘72.
In Brown’s first 5 years we were MISERABLE. He bought players through their coaches in in Macklin and others. I know this for a fact.
He also bought John Williams and others. So stop with Daddy Dale building shite.

Wade built this team and won faster than any coach in LSU history.

He cannot coach. He makes excuses.

What excuses? The fouls? That’s real. Injuries? That’s real.
Go back to ‘86 when LSU lost a shite load of players and was perfect until then. Then they lost a shite load of games. It was Taylor that carried that team.. yeah yeah dumb fricks on here will say Redden and Blanton and Williams. He was the glue. You have to have a fricking Point Guard. PERIOD! That’s no excuse frick head. That’s reality.

Wade is about to make his fourth tournament in his first 5 years NOBODY has been this consistent at LSU. That isn’t just recruiting you fricking idiot.

The Les Miles/Ed Orgeron coaching scale. Even worse, they at least won championships less than 3 years in.

You know I see this all the time....Tex Winter coached here one year and LSU bowed out in the first round of the NCAA tourney as a much higher seed to Dayton - went 18-11 overall and 11-7 in the SEC and by all accounts underachieved that year relative to our talent. I guess beneficial could have another meaning?

You are correct. Most of these idiots were in nutville the last time LSU was worth a shite.
