I’ve followed LSU Basketball longer than most on this board. From my Dad’s perspective of watching the team play in the old Ag Center, to Dale Brown’s arrival and the building of the Assembly Center. My point is, I have watched and witnessed most every LSU game since the early 70’s.

I have no doubt Will Wade can recruit. That’s not the problem. In fact, he’s a really good recruiter. He relates to the kids better than a lot of coaches. Again, not a problem.

He cannot coach. He makes excuses. He consistently underachieves. Every year, no matter if we have mega talent, or zero talent.

I honestly hope something can change with the program.

I thought for having watched LSU basketball for so long you’d be less of a dumbass.

Needed to get this off your chest first thing in the morning? Haha.
If you are looking to debate, you’ll probably need more objective facts than, he makes excuses and underachieves every year.

Then you should remember Dale's first 5 years.

The Ed O coaching model. Great recruiter, poor X/O guy.

You must be a fan of an opposing team disguised as an LSU fan. GTFO

In all seriousness, how do you think college basketball is judged? Winning a conference is nice. March Madness is one of the most exciting sports events out there. That's where teams/coaches are judged. You will come back with some smart arse remark, but it is true. Would you rather a SEC Championship and one and done in tourney, or even one win, or finish 5th in conference and make an elite 8 appearance. Anyway, I don't expect a reasonable answer from you. I don't think Wade should be fired yet. But, OP isn't wrong about positives and negatives.

You know I see this all the time....Tex Winter coached here one year and LSU bowed out in the first round of the NCAA tourney as a much higher seed to Dayton - went 18-11 overall and 11-7 in the SEC and by all accounts underachieved that year relative to our talent. I guess beneficial could have another meaning?
