Tiger Stadium completely erupted when Rusty booted that PAT. Too bad Les Miles gave Ole Miss that second back in 2010.

November 4, 1972. LSU 17 Ole Miss 16
In law school at the time – the famous one second game (you are now entering Louisiana, set your clocks back one second). Great 4th quarter drive by Bert Jones

---Saw this sitting among a bunch of Ole Miss fans on the East side. Glorious

We sat on the 50 yard line right behind the OM bench. It was so loud my shirt was vibrating. I will never sit that low again. My ears hurt for days.

When OM thought they had thrown a TD pass their QB ran over and was screaming at us. We were pointing at the big screen screaming back, he is out of bounds

I'm glad you mentioned that 1964 11-10 Tiger win. That was my favorite game in the whole series because of the walloping we received at home the two previous years, and the excitement of the last seven minutes of the game!

Who would have thought "Captain Easy" and Doug Moreau would have been the games heroes? Ezell struggled his entire career as LSU QB, but he had his shining moments--in this game, and also the Sugar Bowl v. Syracuse.

I was a Freshman in 1972 and it was glorious being in the Student section and seeing Brad Davis catch the tying TD pass after the scoreboard had reached 0:00..
It was wonderful seeing those freaking rebel flags in the South End zone drop as he caught the game tying catch.

Then, the tension before the PAT was successful..

The 1964 game was memorable for me as my Dad insisted we leave early to beat the traffic. This was before the I 10 bridge had been built and you had to drive up Nicholson to get to the Huey Long bridge to get to Lafayette.

The 1971 game was the first time that oranges flew in Tiger Stadium.

This game was my two older kids' first game in Tiger Stadium. At the time my son was 7 and my daughter was 5 (we have a third who at the time was an infant).

To win that game, the fans rush the field, etc - was a great introduction to Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium for the kids.
