Did everyone notice how the media has been running this story? While Miles was saying he wasn't saying anything, WAFB had a graphic with his name and secondary text that said "Player Suspensions" among other things. ESPN has been doing the same thing. Interesting that they are tying the two together and making it seem like Les has confirmed something.

I know that they all have their sources and believe that they are suspended. But, it is irresponsible to put that on the screen next to Les and allow viewers to make a logical connection that isn't there.

Anyone else notice this?

Someone should report all the media outlets to the FCC for spreading UNCONFIRMED rumors about the players. Until an official source confirms any allegation, all we have is rumors.

I'm actually pretty pissed off that these media types can get away with spreading rumors and continue to slander players in an unfair and biased manner.

If the sources are so trusted and true, REPORT YOUR SOURCES.

I told my wife the same thing. As soon as Les said, "I think you're way left of center" in regards to the failed drug tests WAFB put the graphic up.

On stories like this the media always manages to SCREW THINGS TO HELL.

WAFB is the absolute worst at it.

After the way the media handled the shady's incident earlier this season do you really expect anything different?

The only thing that has been confirmed is that the team or some members of the team will be disciplined.

This is typical of Media outlets like the Manships and WAFB. Lets run with what we "think" is a story and Blast to the masses. I am very proud of the way Coach Miles handled the Media and the few "fans" who question him and his program. Bottom line is the man is doing one hell of a job and your either going to support him and this program or your not.

I would love to know who the assclown is that had his phone blowing up with the theme from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, yesterday during the Press Confrence. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if it was that douche bag Jaquce Doucet.

meh, the media was responding to BRPD throwing out a ton of information that should have been private.

I think that a fair comparison would be if they would have shown a picture of Jefferson with a graphic that said "kicked man in head" while his charge was being lowered.

LSU has not confirmed or denied suspensions or reason for suspension. Go to lsusports.net and try to find anything. You wont be able to.

Alleva was quoted to only say that there were team violations that LSU and CLM were handling those violations internally.

Then the media turned all that in to a shitestorm.

ETA: TRENT is correct.

I would not be surprised at all to see them dress out. Whether they play or not is a different story. As Miles said, he has a process in place. I'm sure there are things that they must do to get back in good graces with Les Miles and the team. They do that, and they'll be back soon enough.

My media shitelist includes, but not limited to, WWL, WAFB, The Advocate, and ESPN.

Id file a complaint with the FCC using form 2000 if I had enough time to cite all my sources for their unfair and biased reporting.

Just b/c I think it's ok to say, I think Jacque Doucet is a shite stirrer and a prick. He speaks before he thinks a tad bit too much for my liking.

Jaque Docuet is one of the worst in the city, if not the worst. I lost any respect/liking for him after his little outburst after the Tennessee game last year.

Ever since then I've saw him for what he is, which is exactly what you listed.

Funny when this prick had to apologize on air to a local coach because of something he said that was completly "uncalled for and un-professional".

Surprised he still has a job with WAFB, but then again no other News Station in the State of Louisiana would hire this douche bag.
