Now, if we can get somebody to offer Cam Cameron, we'd be on a roll.

Don't rule out the possibility that Coach Miles orchestrated this !

My first thought.

this is a positive for Lsu and Les Miles.

I don't know if this is a positive or not.....but think about this...Steele is paying LSU a quarter of a million dollars to not coach here and take a job that will pay him the same amount of money LSU was paying him. Interesting

Don't think Auburn has a "Malzahn" clause like our Miles clause. That makes contract guaranteed even if Gus goes.

Think this and the retirement issue plus the brother being there, and was in orgerons shadow had a lot to do with it... But I don't think orgeron should be the DC... People think he should be because they like him as a person..(sound familiar) he's great as recruiting and coaching guys up.. Let him do that and have someone else behind the Xs and Os

You have to remember the pension he will be receiving from the state of Alabama… That makes a lot of difference.

Or Cam's health? Like he had cancer and was receiving treatments? And he himself had said he played with the idea of being on the sidelines earlier but his health wouldnt allow?

Why do all of you fools think this is good, outside of him not really being effective? He's been here one year, that should throw up a metric ton of flags considering what just happened with Miles.

Coach Steele showed nothing but class in his time at LSU, and he coached the last bowl game like it was important to him.

Unlike Chavis.

Holy sh@t on a hockey stick in Vancouver! I did not see Steele leaving coming. What a wonderful late Christmas present to all us Tiger fans!

I must say, on the surface, Kevin Steele has a most impressive resume.
