I will never get tired of watching that clip! Thanks for posting it here!

What really hacks me off about this clip is ole jug ears in the back is shaking his head in agreement, when he was one of the biggest purveyors of misinformation about this entire situation!

I also wish these guys would make the other critical point that’s been made here:
These guys tried the NFL and didn’t make it. The rule change gives them an opportunity to go back for their 5th year which is now allowed and earn legit money playing football for 1 more year, in many cases their last chance to cash in on their football abilities. These smug assholes standing around in suits yelling at each other about their sports opinions are saying these players shouldn’t be allowed to make money that the new rules allow them to make. Paul Finebaum is essentially saying “I, the rich white guy who gets paid to talk about sports, don’t think these young black guys should get to be paid to play another year of college football despite the rules allowing it”.
If Riddick or one of the other guys put it in those terms I think our boy Paul would fall into place quickly.
I agreed with you on everything until you brought race into it for no reason. It's not about telling black players they can't earn money, it's about telling ANY player that wants to play specifically for Lane Kiffin, that they can't play. Jack Pyburn is white, last I checked, and was set to come here if he hadn't been claimed, and Finebaum didn't want him coming here, either. But he has had nothing to say about all the other schools who are doing the same thing.
That should tell you everything. It's not about the players to Finebaum, or most of the media, it's about Kiffin. Please stop race baiting and inciting tensions that don't need to exist.

90% of the public cannot understand any level of nuance. They just hear "NFL Player" and then go DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
clickbait epidemic.....people read a headline and react before reading the actual article.

truly believe that this is a narrative he is pushing from those above him, just to cash in on the excitement of it all.
He’s done this his entire career. It’s what got him famous… to gaslight a fanbase to get over the top reactions.
Earlier this week, he was asked expectations for LK / LSU. He said, “CFP, if he doesn’t make it… I’d love to say he’s fired, but he won’t be”

Seems like the media is actually coming around now.
Sports media tends to push a narrative until it plays out; then they pivot to ride the pendulum swing back the other way. It's been at least marginally this way for some time.

They are changing some because they have to cover their arse for when it comes out how many other teams are gonna do the same.
We already know Ole Miss and others tried to grt Wright and we know about Texas too
