I knew the brother of the head coach at Nichols and he use to tell me all the time that kids from major SEC schools had been talking about transfering to the smaller schools. It was always a few weeks after fall camp started and guys saw they were 3rd or 4th string or had problems with coaches. I am pretty sure some just quit and left without informing the major school. I doubt any player would transfer under those circumstance w/o talking to the coaches before attending that school.
