A well respected poster on 247 who is in the know with the team and players from his association with a certain assistant coach said that McMillian is actually the most accurate and fundamentally sound QB on the roster. That shocked me and I wonder if he would have a chance to play next year.

meh, wouldnt hurt to reopen the competitio in spring. the whole damn program needs a fire lit under it. i'd trade arm strength for accuracy, pocet awareness and moxie.

I will see that in pre-game warmups, that kid is slinging it and hitting the target all day in stride. But idk what he'll be like with Bama linemen up his arse.

I find that hard to believe, and I haven't heard or read that anywhere before your post. Even if it were true, do we really want to head into a third consecutive year with yet another 1st-year starter?

McMillan or Etling. Hopefully one of them can win the job.

Yeah. Out offense actually could he successful if we had someone who could just hit the open man. So many missed throws and dropped passes stalls our offense.

McMillan is the real deal. They call him "the whip" for a reason. Dude can spin the ball, is accurate, stays in the pocket, and makes good decisions.

While I'm not arguing, Patrick Mahomes is a 3 star (like McMillan), 1st year (Sophomore) starter at Texas Tech and threw for 4280 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions with a completion percentage of 65%.
It's coaching, not talent. So you gotta stick with Harris.

Yeah but if he is already the most accurate and fundamental QB that's a good starting point.

Reports are he can actually run the offense the best, but clearly doesn't have the same physical talent. Basically the Welter vs Beckwith argument.

What physical attribute could be possibly be missing. Is having the strongest arm really the most important attribute. Imagine if the offense could just function properly.

Well the rumors will continue to spin. Someone posted the other day that the talk was Etling was the most accurate passer.

Get ready for the spring

At LSU, which ever QB isn't starting is generally the best QB on the roster.

The most unproven backup is usually the best 'round these parts.
