If you ignore all context from their resume, it was a better hire on paper.
Golden was a young, brash guy, more in the mold of Wade. Woodward was never gunna hire that. But it's probably what LSU needs as a basketball coach.
So he hired a bland personality with a good resume.

Bland personality is an understatement Mcloser is a cardboard cutout. Fat Scott obviously spent less than 5 minutes on his interview.
