Well this explains why Aleva met with them this week.

Cryin Mike agrees with you. I can't remember a worse week.. and there were some bad ones in 99 leading up to Dinardo being canned.

the issue would be substantiating that mcclure said it

otherwise it's his assertion and if he said it, there is nothing wrong with reporting what he said

Probably so. He's ready to let everyone know that "it's not coach o's fault. He hasn't even been the head coach for a year yet. This is all Miles fault."

I heard it. Both Mclure and Hanny referred to it as an 'altercation'

this thread is just reporting on what they said over the air.

I'm not saying anything negative. I'm just posting info that was said for the posters that can't listen to the radio.
Don’t think you’re lying and not saying th source itself is wrong. That kind of infighting (especially apparently in front of players) doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season. And my point about how the admins are handling this is spot on. They were whacking “Les is about to be fired threads” after he was practically already packing up his office.

Maybe there’s something in the zeitgeist.

OK, I got KILLED for posting this 2 days ago, but per O contract, he CAN BE FIRED FOR CAUSE, for FAILING in . . . "managing, and LEADING the Program in a professionally appropriate and competent manner which allows the Team to effectively compete in the football classification generally known as the Power Five." (p.2 of Ed Orgeron Contract) ****He can clearly be FIRED FOR CAUSE, already.

That would be LSU's position but it would be litigated and ultimately up to a judge or jury.

The faster O degenerates back to his actual neanderthal self, the better off LSU will be. It's happening.

I wouldn't start the thread if I heard Billy bob saying it at the gas station. This is a former player that lives in Baton Rouge and hosts the post game show. There's merit

Because there is truth to the story not some yo yo caller like Mike from Plaquemine but from a well respected former All-American Center that played in the program for 4 years. The LSU Athletic Department and TD wasn't so focused on spinning the narrative with Les imo. I might be wrong. But O being hired was a result of a mass media and political campaign. The whole reality of O becoming head coach started as a narrative.

Maybe my inflection was wrong. Wasn’t calling you out so much as saying “if this is still up, maybe the wheels really are coming off this team and even people normally guarded of speculation like the admins know it.”

And FWIW I’m down for whatever over letting the inevitable drag out over the next three seasons.

You know some people mature faster than others. Some don't. But I'm of the opinion that by the age of 30, you are pretty much who you are going to be for the rest of your life.

O was still getting in drunken brawls and getting arrested in his early 30s. This is just who this guy is.
