Yes, I’ll be optimistic if LSU scores some SEC-quality players out of the portal. If not, then no. Simple as that.

Season tickets will be way down and It will likely be 90% corporate money next year. The P-Mac will be empty. They will sell enough corporate season ticket packages to break even but no one will actually attend any games.

The tickets aren’t that expensive. But with season tickets I feel somewhat of an obligation to attend as many games as possible. Next year I will just buy single game tickets if/when I want to go. Given the lack of attendance, one can literally buy tickets for 9 SEC home games on the secondary market for roughly $2.00 - $7.00 a piece and move to the hundreds of empty lower level seats. The benefit of season tickets is to make sure you have a seat when demand is high. That won’t be an issue next year

Exactly. I didn’t renew mine after year zero because I didn’t see any reason to be encouraged. Sadly I was right and I definitely don’t want to feel obligated to go sit and watch that terrible product. Worst of all, McMahon just stands there looking like he’s off in lala land for 3 hours. It would be nice if he could at least pretend he cared.

The whole situation is infuriating.

Frick you Scott Woodward. Frick you catholic high and all the whole incestuous little good ole boy network of Baton Rouge that lines each others pockets.

I don’t live in Baton Rouge and she loved sitting close. I’m hoping to get 100s behind the goals. I did live in Baton Rouge and went to everything. Baseball football basketball even women’s basketball. Good times.

Woodward doesn’t value my time or my support therefore I will not be supporting the men’s basketball team any longer.

This isn’t a Woodward thing this is a Louisiana thing. Basketball will never be a big deal. It’s just not. It starts at a young age. A while back when the pelicans were rolling and competitive, you wouldn’t even know they existed by the lack of coverage and talk on it.

Pelicans season doesn't start until the Saints season ends regardless of how good or bad the teams are but NOLA supports the pelicans when they are good. The Paul/West/Chandler/Peja (hornets) playoff runs were fun as shite. SKC is rockin for the playoffs.

Seriously, are there really actual season ticket holders?

Nola only. That’s the issue. If basketball was a big sport in Louisiana, the Pels would have more of a following than just Nola. Look at Oklahoma for comparison, the whole state supports the Thunder. Indiana supports the Pacers.

I’ve been a season ticket holder since the day of Will Wade’s first press conference. Only season I missed was the Covid year when they required masks for attendance.

I’d like to keep them so that I have a better pick of seats when the new building comes along…

…however, who knows when that will be and it could be agony in the meantime.

So I may give them up.

Now I was gung-ho about watching basketball in the PMAC the entire Dale Brown era, even during the last four losing campaigns, but how can you sit there and watch abject failure for a whole season now?

Apparently a lot of folks feel the same way; tickets for the last 5 home MBB games were selling at the ticket booth the day of the game for $2 each!
