Miller just needs to move his feet and get more aggressive to get boards.

I expected more from Miller this year. He looked out the gate like he was moving much better - he looked more athletic, but I have not really seen that of late.

It may have to do with lack of aggressiveness or passivity making him appear less athletic? I don't think he'll ever be a player that will be physical, it does not seem in his nature. There was a rebound last night where a guy not as big as him outfought him for that board - he needs to start winning more of those battles if he wants to play more.

LSU’s margin is small. If Reed was still available, Miller would barely see the court with the way he is playing. He badly needs to be coached up to learn how to use his size. It’s hard to believe that Gilhool offers less than Miller.

Reed on the court with Miller actually makes Miller better because Reed can pull his big out of the lane which gives Miller more room to move as well as other players to drive the lane. He was a big loss but not as big as last year.

Miller was actually playing more when Reed was on the team than now. And of the little I've seen of Gilhool, I honestly think he does offer less. I've at least seen Miller have a couple of really good games last year.

Yes, but Miller was playing much better for most of this season, and Reed was being brought along slowly. It made sense to play Miller since he wasn't hurting us. I think he played decently until the Texas Tech game, but that was his last decent game. His slump started with SMU, and he's been in a slump against the last 3 weaker opponents, so if Reed were available, Miller probably wouldn't be playing.
