Between a former player, a bald senile old man and a trash website hating on LSU lately, I just don’t understand. Feels like they’re going out of there way to comment negatively on LSU for no reason.

I guess were just the new team to hate

I know people like to say LSU plays victim blah blah blah, but it really does feel like sometimes there’s an agenda against LSU. I would expect some comments from Bama fans etc, out of jealousy. But, now from Dan Wolken and Vitale getting back on the hammer, to yahoo, former players, and professors from the university. I love it, frick them all. People love to complain.

I don’t miss the apathy towards LSU that we “enjoyed” in the 90s.

Vitale is a unique situation, but I do believe the vitriol from SEC brethren is directly tied to the success of this website. Similar to what Finebaum has done to Alabama nationally.

It's called virtue signaling.

People want their 15 minutes where everyone looks at them and says, "there's a good person, look at their values" but in reality, to those not blind, they come off as Petty and cynical. Can't enjoy anything in life.

And right now, you have Eric Reid and Jay Bilas talking about paying players (acting as if LSU had to choose between one or the other, even though the NCAA doesn't allow paying players) and then you have Dick Vitale and Robert Mann trying to dictate how individuals spend their own money

I thought we jumped the shark with the whole D White not playing in first half of Bama game. We whined then got kicked. As for me from now on stay quiet and carry a big stick.

I thought it was pretty straight forward. We now have the newest and best facilities. Go look at the sec rant. Quite a bit of jealous fanbases, that’s all I meant by it.

I find it especially peculiar that most of these people hating on LSU for this have in one way or another use college athletics to make their millions. For decades the more successful football programs have been at an arms race with each other to attract the best football players so they can continue winning and making money. Having state of the art facilities is one important aspect of this race. And it's not just college athletics, it's professional sports as well. Everybody wants the most lavish and effective training equipment and facilities. I wonder how Reid would feel if he had to take the bus across country to his next game instead of flying. All these do-gooders and activist have already benefited from the money generated by college athletics and professional sports. And now they want to say something is wrong with it? Hypocrite's! They are worse than the preacher that stand behind the pulpit every Sunday preaching against adultery when every Saturday night he sneaks off with the pianist committing the same damn sin.

I never used to believe in an agenda against LSU, and we also get our share of love in the media from folks like Scott Van Pelt and the Barstool guys, but we do seem to get singled out for the dumbest shite.

Every program in the country spends money on facility upgrades, makes coaching changes, and bends recruiting rules, but when LSU does it, there's a remarkable amount of pearl clutching.

Weird how LSU is getting dogged for not paying players, but also for paying players.
