Something just seems off. Alleva, like him or not, didn't get to where he's at by being stupid. I can't for the life of me see him green lighting a hire like this when there are 10+ better candidates available, knowing that this hire could eventually end your own employment.

This, although I don't think Joe is a good AD I think F King, Jindal, and JBE have made him look really bad.

How about negotiating a solution to have 2 OL Coaches then; one to coach Centers/Guards, the other to coach Tackles/TE's. Many programs have an OL coaching split like that.
Sullivan can coach TE's in the Passing Game.
There is a solution to every problem for those that have the vision to see them, but seriously doubt if O is that type of Visionary..............

The worst day in the last 50 years for this school and for our beloved football program was the day ME left for Washington. We should have never let him leave. I would have locked him in a room and gave him a blank check.

There is absolutely no doubt! These people are dyed in the wool professional bureaucrats - they live for the system only. Anything that threatens the system they stonewall. They are thoroughly entrenched and hide behind "greater good" of serving humanity vs Athletics.

There is no doubt that FKA, BOS and Alleva are the real problem. Their relationship is completely dysfunctional. I've always said people can be mad at O all they want but he didn't hire himself. An incompetent administration did. I think O is trying. I'm not defending him as a good coach, but he didn't create this problem. The administration did.

I keep telling people that the mess at LSU is going to take a Governor who's a legit LSU fan and actually gives a shite about their athletics programs, not just football.
JBE is not that guy as he's a SouthEastern fan and doesn't care about LSU and if you want a change, vote against him in 2019.
