As long as we go that's all the matters. Make the trip and hope for the best.

At this point yes

still time to play our way into a 2 seed at a nearby regional tho

Take 7/9 SEC games and win a couple n Hoover should do the trick

How on earth is our RPI in the 20's? Boyd World has us in the top 25 by his pseudo RPI.

Given LSU's late season schedule (Bama, Tenn, State), LSU actually controls its own fate. there's simply no excuse not to go at least 6-3 in that stretch, and probably 7-2. If LSU goes 6-3, we'll finish 13-17 in SEC play. not great, but that might be enough to make Hoover. And if you can't go 6-3 at the very least against those three, well, you don't deserve postseason play anyway.

Wknd series w/ CSF, Florida & Vandy helps

that being said, our RPI may dip a lil after these next 3 series

I looked at Boyd's future RPI projections, and LSU only has to go 5-5 to stay in the top 32 (counting the Tulane game). Amazing.

RPI is weighted more on who you play than if you win or lose, kinda messed up

Yeah, that would hopefully get us a two seed in the Southern Miss regional, which we would be the favorite in easily.

A three seed in Tempe or Florida St would likely not be too fun, but my main goal is just to get to the NCAAs at this point.

Only b/c they don't have the baseball lineage of the others. They've done as much (or as little as it were) with their opportunities.

If Vandy doesn't win a regional this year I will disown them as my alma mater.
