This may be one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen and recaps that game

It honestly overshadows everything else he's ever done as a QB because it tells you about what is in his head.....or isn't as the case may be.

It was truly the dumbest football play I've seen in my life. There is no close 2nd

Jordan Jefferson says hello.

JJ was awful. Hell, overall, MJ is perhaps a better QB

But MJ will always and forever more hold the record for dumbest shite ever on a football field

Woah woah woah. The rant told me non stop that Max Johnson should start because he had "it." You know, that thing that can't possibly be measured, but was used to ignore all the numbers to say Johnson should start. Now you mean to tell me he doesn't have it?

What do the rest of the offense players think about that shite?

I can think of exactly ONE scenario where I would find that shite acceptable.

Down by 4, 4th down with 2 seconds to go and the rush gets to you FAST..........even then, da frick..........get rid of it before you turn around

They should have watched him a bit more last year, if that shoe didn't get thrown everyone would have a different tune on mj this year

Remember how O jumped Finley’s arse last year for something that wasn’t as dumb as that?

Finley was chewed out because earlier in that game, O told him to “protect the ball” after throwing an INT @ the A&M 21 yd line. When backed up at the LSU 9 yd line, Finley made a horrible passing decision that resulted in a Pick 6 and put A&M up 20-0.

Both throwing decisions by Finley and Johnson were dumb, as you take the sack and live to see another down.

Up to this point, I could see the obvious with MJ. Very average arm, stuff like that.

But, at the very least, I always assumed that as a kid who was very well educated on the game, at the least, he'd have a good QB head on his shoulders.

But honestly, several times last night, he turned into a HS Sophomore who was 3rd string mentally.

THAT shite is surprising given who daddy is

It's the typical message board overreaction to say he's done or doesn't have it but he did look completely overwhelmed at times by what was basically an aggressive blitz package from UCLA. He seemed to really not know how to handle it at all. Definitely concerning.

LSU's offense seemed to be having the game dictated to them and were always reacting to the defense as opposed to the other way around.

Which is scary because he might watch that and think, "darn, almost" instead of "holy frick, what was I thinking?!"

That he was not immediately benched tells you all you need to know about this coaching staff.

It's a little foggy but didn't we have a receiver in the area?

The absolute trash OL might have something to do with that.

Yeah. And 2-3 defenders. What's your point?
