Thanks for putting your take on the thread title. Saved me a read.

Burrow's "jump" was being taken out of E's pedestrian 2018 offense and put into Brady's 2019 offense.
Burrow's talent was already there. The improvement from 2018-19 was being put into the right scheme.
1. Different/better receivers: How many of the 18 receivers were starters in 19.
Repetition: He and the new receivers worked all summer getting their timing and patterns in sync.
In 18 Joe missed that.

Bad batch of mojo baw. Throw that shite out.

Max Johnson isn't only good, he's the next Joe Burrow

I laughed at your takes leading into the 2019 year and thought you were legit bat shite crazy. Turns out you nailed it.
I want to tell you to pump the brakes a bit on Max, but god damnit you earned it after last year. I hope you're as right about Max as you were about Joe.
The key is O committing 100% to the Brady/Burrow offense. E strayed away a little. I have confidence that O will do just that in 2021... commit 100%.
Coco didn't raise no fools.

Wth is this part?

Working non stop with receivers was the biggest factor. Burrow was Doing great at the end of 2018. He just needed experience.
That’s bullshite
We scored 24 against an Arkansas offense ranked in the 80s. 24 in regulation vs A&M
We looked good vs Rice and UCF. 2 teams we completely out matched. We elite talent and we handcuffed them.
Ensminger has shown in 2018 and 2020 that he can put up big point on shorty defenses. We go silent against real defenses.

Poor sentence construction on my part - 2nd try -
I hope O listens to Max and his dad as to the passing scheme for 2021 and beyond (in the same way O listened to Joe and his dad in 2018).
In the Spring of '18, the Burrows sat down with O. And O agreed that the wide-open offense was best for JB, and O/E would make that happen. Took a year to get it rolling, but they did it.

Revisionist history.
You're the little fella that said experience wasn't important to the success of a football team...
Good times, you haven't changed a bit.

That’s not fair at all to Max. You can’t put those comparisons on him so soon. Let him become his own player. Just be happy we have another QB with some dog in him like Joe.

You’re the retard who pretended we just needed an off-season.
Are you going to pretend you’re right?
We hired Brady. Everyone know we needs to fix the scheme.
In 2018 what was our highest scoring game of the season? When did it happen?
When was our lowest scoring game? When did it happen?
Should be we have gotten better as the season went on?

Get over yourself. Max is all business.
Max DNGAF what we say on TD. Neither did Joe.

Whooooooa, slow down cowboy! I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself. Max is very talented, but he has a long way to go to be compared to JB! I hope he one day becomes the next Joe Burrow, but he's a true freshman with a lot to learn!
Posted on 12/23/20 at 2:39 pm to Buckeye Jeaux
I’ll be honest. You got on my nerves pretty bad when you talked up burrow day in and out but I’ll be damned, it came true.
Pump this Johnson all you want.
See what I did there..

You are wrong. He will be better than JoeB
Posted on 12/23/20 at 2:41 pm to Buckeye Jeaux
He's got a shot at being very good by the time he leaves. I hope he lights it up.

I think he has a lot of intangibles but let’s slow the frick down with this shite. He has to make HUGE improvements in the accuracy department to even sniff Burrow’s jock.

The 'Accuracy' stat can be misleading. Max, in 2020, is about 1 percentage point higher than Joe was in 2018.
And Max was in the mid-70% completion rate to Boutte - the only WR he got to spend much practice time throwing to.

Max is mobile, reads the D, works through progressions and keeps his eyes downfield.
Brennan is a good pocket passer and decision maker who needs a good O-line in front if him.
TJ “Big Hongry” Finley is a fat arse with an arm.

It's possible to talk about the QB position without personally insulting one of them believe it or not.
