Hey Brad how you been?

Not Brad here, just tired of some of you toxic fans presenting half stats out of context to make ridiculous points. It’s called a bad faith argument.

We’re better than A&M in every way possible so way do we have to make shitte up about a guy that’s not even in our program anymore?

He only rushed for about 60 yards all game, with a long of 48. Don't know where you get 120 from and no one should care about running stats when no one is allowed to tackle you

Again, just say you didn’t watch the game. He rushed for over 60 yards on one play. I’m not disagreeing that rushing stats are skewed in spring games, especially for QBs. I’m just saying there’s a lot trash talk on here from people that clearly didn’t watch the game and do their research.

Arm talent does not equate to qb talent. Big hearted guy but he was not showing signs of being a performer

All the news articles say he ran for 69 yards, including a long of 48. Did they not watch the game too?

Max was awful for 6 weeks last year. He started hot and then had a decent game vs A&M

So first you say stats in spring games don’t matter and now you’re quoting them? You must not remember all the random stats Les would toss out during spring. He broke a 60 yard run that they brought back because a defender was in the area but didn’t touch him. That’s them just getting extra reps because it’s a spring game. What’s 69+60=?

This is pathetic. So now you are counting runs that don't actually count. And did the defender not even try to stop him? And you accuse the OP of making stuff up...

This isn't a smear Max post but the kid just doesn't have the stuff to be an SEC QB. He had two years here and his first was better than the second.

We’ll in fairness to Max the offensive line was truly offensive.

You mean like when he threw a perfect pass to Jenkins for the game winning TD last year against his new school?

If we are going to base our assessment on one pass, why not this pass?

Better idea than that, how about we just say forget the guy and move on? The guy quit on the team, transferred prior to a bowl game and left us without a QB

Lol the only thing that’s pathetic is your basic lack of understanding of how practices go. The run happened. Period. Whether they ran it back or not doesn’t matter. That happens ALL THE TIME in practice. The player made the play. That’s what coaches are looking at. I’m sorry if basic math upset you. I’ll try to dumb it down next time

You do know none of it counts right? Yikes

I was actually basing it on 27 TDs to 5 ints but sure… one play

This. They were very average last year. They won’t be better this unless all those new players they paid can contribute. Such a trailer park trashy program.

You were the one bitching about the OP not mentioning some stats from the game, no?

Then you just make up some stats. Yikes.

ETA: LOL. Just watched the play. A couple of defenders didn't even try to stop him. One guy tapped his legs but obviously didn't try to wrap him up. That's why it was called back. But you count it. Probably count incompletions and blame interceptions on the receivers too.

Lol I was pointing out that he was omitting parts of his performance just as you are doing. It’s really not that hard to comprehend. I’m sorry you’re struggling with it so much. Yikes

It's 6 Ints but that is still a pretty good ratio.

Sure 27. Lets look at those -

UCLA - 3 (L)
McNeese State - 3 (W)
Central Michigan - 5 (W)
Mississippi State - 4 (W)
Auburn - 1 (L)
Kentucky - 1 (L)
Florida - 3 (W)
Mississippi - 0 (L)
Alabama - 2 (L)
Arkansas - 0 (L)
Louisiana-Monroe - 2 (W)
Texas A&M - 3 (W)

13 vs non SEC teams
8 VS SEC teams that finished with .500 or below seasons overall and in the SEC.

6 vs SEC teams with winning regular season records.

Stats alone are interesting These may not be meaningful

Almost every miss was in front of the receiver. It is his timing obviously. A&M receivers are a few steps slower than ours. Our DB's gonna feast!!

The defender touched him but didn't tackle him because they aren't allowed to. But he kept running and then other defenders didn't even try, probably because it was already called dead. But you think it was some great 60 yard TD run.
