The discussion was whether there was any scenario where Ok State could move past Alabama and get into the BCS Championship game.

Millen's take was that OK ST could get in over LSU, if LSU lost to UGA.

I guess he would consider 11-1 Ok St with a signature win over a 2-loss Oklahoma > than a 12-1 LSU with three wins over top 4 teams and wins against 3 other ranked opponents.

Millen's scenario would also require an 11-1 Alabama team to be elevated over a 12-1 LSU team that beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and had an otherwise tougher schedule.

No wonder the Lions tanked when that fool was their GM.

The guy is an idiot, there are people on this site more qualified for the job he does than he is.

ESPN actually pays these people to say these things. It's amazing.

Yeah I was watching that until I heard him say that, and just changed the channel. It wasn't even worth getting upset or anything, it was just too... ridiculous to care

I'm not sure how Millen has a job of any sort involved in sports...the guy has proven time after time to be a complete buffoon.

He HAS to have a nude peephole video of Chris Berman or something.

The guy is dumber than pudding.

I guess technically he is right. It's possible, though extremely unlikely. Much less likely than OSU jumping Bama with a win against OU.

Because ESPN has a history of keeping the buffoons (Millen, Craig James, Lou Hothhhhzz)

You actually have a better chance of being fired at ESPN if you are decent and competent writer/analyst (Feldman, Forde)

While true, the fact that he's on ESPN spouting this garbage like it should not just be possible, but could be likely, is ridiculous.

I said earlier you never know what these idiot pollsters will do, but Millen is still a moron.

while he is a retard and I know this is not the scenario he was speaking of.

An LSU loss could actually hurt Bama more than LSU.

If LSU loses there would be some voters start to split their votes and OSU would gain ground on Bama (if they win) hence putting OSU in over Bama. I do not know exact math, but I remember seeing it played out somewhere and it is quite possible.

I don't see why LSU should be punished for a loss in the SECCG, a game Bama didn't have to play. That's just absurd.

He had to have been mistaken, and meant Bama?

No. Fowler looked at him like he was crazy and asked something like - So you think OSU could get in over LSU??

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS!

Watch it happen if we lose.

We will lose last and bama will jump to 1 and okie state will play them. I feel like we have been set up personally.

This way would make ALOT of people happy

You don't think it's possible?

I certainly do.

No I really don't, because it'd literally kill the BCS, because if LSU is left out but Bama gets in, the BCS is basically punishing LSU for winning the SEC West over Alabama this year.

I have a feeling fowler and Davis will be gone long before the likes of millen, holtz, and James

You know it's bad when you look forward to a Palmer segment. Say what you want about the guys announcing ability, but he knows his shite and he is probably the most unbiased CFB guy ESPN has.

You still cannot put Bama over LSU even if LSU lost. This is a fact. How can you justify it? How? LSU beat Bama h2h at their house and has way more SOS and quality wins.. and more LSU will have played in more games.

LSU losing to Georgia should actually hurt Bama IMO.
