That’s about 1.9 too much. He should pay us because he is stealing money at this point

he played and made maybe the best defensive play of the season, but did not play a ton.

take out Grambling

Dude, Grambling pushed this weak arse defense’s shite in on their first 3 drives of that game

7 play, 83 yard drive = TD
12 play, 80 yard drive = FG
9 play, 69 yard drive = Missed 23 yard FG

In the 7 play TD drive, they never even faced a 3rd down. Just marched right down the damn field.

On the FG drive, they converted a 3rd & 15 with a 36 yard run

On the missed FG drive, they converted a 3rd & 10 with a 27 yard run

A fricking embarrassment

House was fine last year, even good at times.

the talent took a step back, the turnover happened and he has not adjusted the scheme for the players we have.

He ran out of Portal players who had been coached by someone else.
He had to depend on young players who entered the system and were his responsibility.

Unbelievably, I'm starting to think that Orgeron was a better coach than Kelly.

No doubt. I listened to T-Bob a few minutes ago. He was talking about the defensive linemen, misaligned and playing two yards off the ball/line of scrimmage. He told the story about himself getting corrected by Orgeron years ago. Line up with your nose almost even with the ball.

We are Texas Tech.

I would argue that we're Southern Cal. Our offense is incredible and as much as I doubted JD5 last year, his stats are nothing short of amazing. We have 2 receivers playing out of their mind and Diggs is 3 yards shy in the Arkansas game from back to back 100 yard days.

All that being said, the defense gave up 317 yards ON THE GROUND to Ole Miss who was held to less than 100 total rushing yards by both Bama and Tulane.

I say this without fully knowing House’s contract, but this again is another example of why guaranteed money is dumb. There’s zero reason why all coaches shouldn’t be on performance based pay. The only 2 coaches right now that should even be entertained for guaranteed cash is Saban and Smart. I understand that the market dictates this type of behavior, it’s just not smart and leads to complacency.

I totally agree with this. Being a college football coach is the only job in the world where you are rewarded for poor performance. It's insane. Real world people lose their jobs for fricking up and have to find another one or starve.

Exactly. If Grambling was anyone but Grambling, that would have been another game where we would have struggled to win. Grambling should have had 21 points on their first three drives, and they did it with ease.

Knowing this guy makes this much is sickening. He's horrible.
