Hopefully, would assist the Saints in losing so they can get a better draft pick.

Just like with Russell, Flynn is better than Brees.

Why the down vote? Have u not followed his career. He duck hunts, then someone calls for a tryout. He makes a million. He gets cut and drinks a Bloody Mary.

Next year, he's deer hunting, someone calls, he makes a million. He gets cut and drinks a margarita.

Is there a problem?

As someone that is at this game, it is a snoozer especially after that goil line stand. However if Flynn was put in I'd go ape shite.

Brees is too stubborn...they'll have to carry him out on a stretcher for him to sit...

Wow, delusional much? One is a hall of famer, the other will win the backup of the year award in 2025.

Down votes for the Flynn Express? Wasn't knocking Brees - he looked like he was coming out with an injury.

Matt Flynn throwing a TD for the Saints would complete the circle.

No shite. He shows random signs of greatness, gets signed for millions of dollars, gets beat out by a rookie, gets picked up elsewhere, gets cut, picked up elsewhere. He's filthy rich, played in the NFL, won a national title in college, and will retire with more money than he'll ever need by the time he's 35 or 40 having never been injured and be able to live the next 40-60 years without a care in the world. That's amazing and I'm jealous as frick

He has slow feet and weak legs but he can pass the ball and manage the game

As an LSU/Saints fan who loves each team the same, hopefully, the answer is no. If Brees is truly hurt, the Saints need to let Garrett Grayson play to see if he's any good since they spent a third-round pick. I doubt that he is any good, but the Saints need to confirm that by watching him in a live regular-season game. The Saints have nothing to lose playing Grayson and nothing to gain by playing Flynn.
