I always liked Flynn, but many rantard didn't care for him.
After watching our first 2 games againt poor defenses, I think even I underestimated Flynn a little. I think alot of people will have a little more appreciation for Flynn after this year.

LSU would be ranked 1 or 2 if Flynn was back.

they actually remind me of Flynn a little. Hatch looks almost identical to Flynn except with a weaker arm, which is hard to believe.
Similarities:
1. Stare down primary receiver on every play.
2. Antsy in pocket, ready to run at first sign of pressure.
3. Overrated running ability, but servicable.
4. Weak arm, will have hard time stretching defenses.
5. Make some mistakes, yet people still will call him a game manager.
6. If he can play mistake free ball, we will win a ton of games. But, making a few mistakes and missing easy passes could cost us a few games we should win.
Watching the Patriots reminded me of LSU's situation. If the coaches can prepare our QBs to play like Cassell did (zero turnovers, took sacks instead of throwing the ball in pressure, delivered the ball when he needed to, missed on a few throws), we will still win a lot.

not in comparison to Hatch. But, he'd have the 3rd strongest arm on the team this year.

well, you are an idiot if you don't see the similarities. The difference is that Flynn could throw the deep ball and Hatch can't. Besides that, they are very, very similar.

Therefore Flynn's are isn't weak. Plus, Hatch did throw it deep, you must've missed that play. Toliver dropped it.

who is this Flynn you speak of?

well I'm sure over 50% of inexperienced college QB's share these similarities, so it's easy to say they both possessed these.

Lee does this way more than Hatch.
its the one thing that drives me crazy about him

1 of the 5 40 yard rainbows he threw actually came close to a receiver and you are gonna harp on that. 90% of the guys in the rec right now could make that throw better.
I'm not saying a better player, but his "deep balls" are laughable.

Flynn was a fantastic QB and I will never understand those who think otherwise. All he did was go 13-2 and play well against ranked opponents. The Packers deemed Flynn good enough for their roster. I think that means something.

I haven't insulted Flynn once on this thread. Just stating that him and Hatch are very similar.
And, as for the person that says Lee stares down way more than Hatch. That is false. They both stare down the primary receiver on every single play. And, Flynn did the same thing last year.

Flynn looked like a joke compared to Russell. He was the average college qb. Inconsistent. Compared to hatch and lee flynn looks like a first round pick. You can evaluate film if you like. Hatch looks like he is throwing a shot put when he throws deep. I was surprised to see the ball even come close to tolliver. Maybe hatch is just holding back.

They were both good. They also played in different style offenses.

This is probably true. But considering Flynn is the Packers' 2nd string QB, that isnt a stretch.
