Last year, we thought Clemson was good. After the game , we thought we had something, and it turned out both teams sucked.
I sure hope Clemson is competent, because that means we are really GOOD......
But let's also get real - I think Clemson stinks. Maybe they're good and we made them look bad, but I think they're just bad. Time will tell, of course, but my gut tells me they're bad.

Last year we won a close game over Clemson. This year we totally dominated Clemson in a blowout.

I'm not ready to say this team is the 2019 team... but 2026 LSU has a lot of potential

It’s just nice to see us not playing like shite to an inferior opponent. Clemson was a 7 point game last year and WKU was a 3 point game.
Furthermore, it’s the first time we didn’t look like Swiss cheese starting a season in a hot minute. Even in 2019 people were saying the defense would cost us at the beginning of the season.
