I hope Alleva at least takes a look in his old back yard of Durham and gives Levelle Moton at NC Central an interview.

Also, Butch needs to be given a legit chance to prove he can take over for Gottfried. I hate it for him; ever since not getting Brady's job I've been rooting for the guy.

I think it's more interesting in that article that Archie Miller is likely candidate to replace MG at NCst

Archie Miller can do so much better than NC State.

You realize that kind of record can take us out of the NIT right?

Yes and so did the #1 recruit in the nation last season.

I like the idea of getting Gottfried. He won some in the ACC and that says a lot. It's not far from his hometown of Mobile. He did a decent job at Alabama. Let's face it, LSU is not a basketball school so the top coaches out there are not coming to Baton Rouge!

Why do you want us to hire a recently fired coach ?
We want a coach that is good enough to keep the job he quits to come to coach LSU!

I'd consider Chris Holtmann first, then Archie Miller and Matt McCall.

Expect neither. Expect mediocrity as usual because Alleva will hire a no one.

Then, I will send him a note to pony up my strong-armed payment into "Tradition Fund" for actually producing this circus act of an atrocious season.

Let me preface what I'm about to say with a disclaimer...I don't seriously follow college basketball but do enjoy watching the NCAA tournament. I'm a very casual fan, to say the least. That being said, with all the talk of a Johnny Jones replacement, how realistic is it that he gets shite-canned at the end of the season?

And if so, why haven't I ever saw Mark Few's named mentioned as a viable option? He's the HC of Gonzaga (yes, I had to look his name up). They seem to always be in the tournament and may have won it once some time back (didn't feel like fact-checking that). What I did notice is that he makes a 125k LESS per year than JJ.

Is there any chance he'd come on down?

No Mark Few will most likely never leave Gonzaga. He's had plenty of offers and chances to leave but he's from there and that's his baby.

I hear ya. Didn't really know but kinda figured this dude must have received multiple offers before. But still, I'd walk in with my absolute top number (maybe 2.5?) and make him turn it down.
